For us it was under $50.00 we are doing a snack style dinner tonight, and just ham, rolls and beans tomorrow nothing too fancy.

The holiday food is a big deal around here. We are having snack platters for Christmas Eve--chicken strips / nuggets, mozza sticks, veggie trays, crackers, cheese, kabosa, etc. For breakfast we'll have eggs, ham, hashbrowns, sausage, bacon, rolls, etc. and for Christmas dinner it will be turkey, mashed potatoes / dressing, gravy, carrots, peas, turnip, corn, salad, a veggie / gerkins / cheese platter, cranbery sauce, and then apple and blueberry pies for dessert.

I'm going to ladybastilla's for Christmas!  Your food sounds great!  We're just having boring beef stew tonight.  None of our family stuff worked out, so we're not getting together with any family this year.

Spent far too much!
Just love M&S bread sauce... then all the extra trimmings, turkey, pigs-in-blankets, cranberry-and-port sauce, roast spuds...
Waitrose tarte-tatin, diary icecream, xmas pudding, almond + sherry trifle...
cheeseboard, crackers + grapes
IKEA ginger heart biscuits (delicious, bought a few tins to share with family!)
yummy  :P

I spent about £10 on nibbles for Christmas, seeing as it's hardly thrill-a-minute in here, just me and my housemate (who is sleeping Christmas Eve away, thus leaving me with noone to talk to, more thrills...) I picked up some mini sausage rolls, mini cheese and onion rolls, piri piri falafels and a bag of fancy popcorn. My housemate contributed some chocolates, genoa cake, one of those light sponge rolls with the jam inside (can't remember what they're actually called) As for actual dinner, well no planning actually went into that. I'm thinking of sleeping in til lunchtime, then my Christmas dinner can be porridge with Greek yogurt and cranberries. (And as an added bonus, getting up in the middle of the day means less time awake basking in the disappointment of another lacklustre holiday.) :P
