Removing sharpie from G4 Ponies?
« on: December 23, 2017, 11:20:40 PM »
I recently received a Royal Castle Friends Celestia that's in good condition besides some bright pink sharpie/highlighter stains. Tried magic eraser to no avail. Going to try sun fading but i'm unsure how the plastic in these takes to that. Does anyone have advice on removing sharpie from these ponies?

I've used acetone to remove sharpie in the past. Sometimes it works for me, sometimes it doesn't. Sun fading is probably your best bet.

If the stain was very recent, you can sometimes use isopropyl alcohol on a Q-tip to pull the ink out.

However... if you are talking about stains on something you bought secondhand, I would skip straight to the sunfading.  If it's wintery where you live, try putting the pony in a car window instead.
