Well, hello everyone. I don't draw that very often anymore. I posted juste one drawing this year, but I'll show you my DeviantArt gallery, because why not ? It might please some people's eyes.   ^.^

I have made slow progress and I'm still learning. Well, we can clearly see my "skill curve" over the years, all the way from 2012 to today for this gallery.  But before that, I tried to draw horses when I was 10/11. I've been drawing since my early childhood. I still remember to use my pony plushies as models, nearly all my drawings have a pony in them, I was between 5 and 9.  I'm pretty sure I was scribbling since I could hold a pencil and I'm not stopping anytime soon.

I'm also trying to make a custom pony from a G3 base, I'm trying to do :muffin: Pony Hooves. My base wasn't a bait at all, it was a double. I dismantled it probably 3 years ago, but never continued it, until today ! I've done the painting, eyes, blush. Only have to do the mane, tail, symbol and wings next and I'm done.

Based off G3 Star Swirl. It will be non-brushable and I'll try to make wings using my precious 3D pen but I'm not sure yet. I already have made a pair of wings that suits her, but It's a bit scribbly.(no pics yet)

Actually, this is my second ever custom pony. My first one was a commission for a friend with one of her childhood fakie as a base a month ago. I know my pony is very flawed, there are 3 shades of grey on her body, some paint cracked, etc... But I decided to go for it anyway. It won't be perfect like some people's customs, but at least it will exist anyway. So, I "custom like an idiot" so at leat it will be done and I'll get experience from it.
"Draw like an idiot" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2wl--FkDfiI is a pretty inspirational video for people who have confidence issues regarding their creative stuff and their perfectionism.

Hope you all have a nice day. I can't wait to read your feedback. =)

It looks like the links aren't working for me.

I'm sorry, I'm sure it has nothing to do with your drawings but just the holidays keeping people busy!

Your art is very cute and I can definitely see improvement over the years, browsing through your gallery. I especially like 'Memories', the lighting and atmosphere are perfect. ^.^

The custom pony is also coming along nicely, her eyes are very pretty! You might get some more comments if you posted her to Customs, though. :)

Hi Griffin, yes I'm sure it is the holidays, I forgot about it at that time. Thank you for the hug. :-*
I'm glad you like "Memories", was being sad at that time, but it is still a nice piece anyway.
And yes, about my custom, I shall make a post about her when I'll make some more progress. I don't want to be spamming my threads all around the forum, I wait for some more relevance before.

Thanks Safflower, I'm very glad you both find my art style cute. I can't wait do draw more. Probably next year. I just have to find some inspiration, time and go for it. =)

Have a great day ! Thanks for your replies, it's really precious to me.

The eyes on the custom look cute!!
I love the redraw of the picture from 2012, you've improved so much!!
In the next year, maybe make a resolution to draw a piece at least once a month, if you can find the time?

I'm glad you find her eyes cute, they were just plain basic to me.
Trying to draw once a month is a good idea. I just have to find ideas and keep them until I'm done with the drawing.
Here's my freshly new addition : Chysalis, done only with my mouse. I don't have my tablet right now. I've never been drawing with my mouse since forever (except for pixel art) lol. Yest, it's totally scribbly on purpose, I was just goofing around with the brushes, not a serious drawing. I don't like mouse drawing lol, I don't want to do that again.

Hope you like it.

She looks great! I love her wings, you really captured the iridescent film on them well!

Oh, thank you, this is really sweet. Thanks for the wings, they look nice indeed, but I feel a bit like a traitor because I just copied the look of the flutter  wings in the game Pony Island, I just remembered how they did the irridescent look and I improvised two days later, following their way. I couldn't have done them without this website, I think.
