POTD 12/19/17 Banana Surprise

I have my childhood Coco Berry and a few years ago I got Sherbet from a friend. My Coco Berry never smelled like ice cream or chocolate, but did have some kind of scent.

I didn't know this set has scents. I might have to smell my ponies then.

I got her for Easter one year. She was hidden under the apple tree. She is one of my favorite ponies in my collection, and even if her smell is awful, it makes me happy and reminds me of that tree (which is gone now) and my mom (also gone).
Hmm, that was pretty melancholy. It wasn't meant to be, just that she is important to me and makes me think of very happy times.

Odd, though- I don't have a personality (head canon?) for her. She is sweet, but nothing more. Most of my childhood favorites have something. She had a house in Ponyland, where i played with the ponies, but she didn't really adventure.

Yes. Yes you should. O.O. It's long since been my belief that deploying that pony is the quickest way to end a dispute. The sickly sweet smell is beyond compare.

@Aurora - that's awesome that she has a special memory for you I love when ponies have more important connections to people's childhoods

Yes. Yes you should. O.O. It's long since been my belief that deploying that pony is the quickest way to end a dispute. The sickly sweet smell is beyond compare.

I checked where I thought she was and Coco Berry wasn't there. She must be with some other ponies. Maybe they won't be too upset when I find them.

I have her, she was one of my first G1s I love her colours.

She does NOT smell like bananas! 

That's the surprise.

Sundae Best ponies are all lethal weaponry in the scent department, except possibly Sorbet Surprise/Sherbet, whose scent is passable. I can only imagine Hasbro designed them for little girls who were fed up with older brothers/boys at school doing bad stuff to their ponies (in my case, throwing them on the school roof) and invented these as a means of revenge...
