My sister is the carebear collector in my family, so most of the care bear stuff I have was either given to me by her and if I pick something up, she usually gets to keep it

But I do have a few things of my own.

Naynie gave me the elephant because she was given him and the lion at a carboot sale and she already had him so I got him.

I have Share and Champ from the original small range. I don't really know why. I just never could part with them.

As a child the only thing I had was a Gentleheart poseable which I do still have now, somewhere.

I also had a glass with Good Luck bear on and it was one of my special treasures as a kid. I still have it somewhere I think. Because of that, I have little plush Good Luck bear in his box, and I also have a poseable, and a few ceramic and other GL bear things. I guess if I was going to collect CBs properly, it would just be a Good Luck collection.

All this is G1 stuff except I have a more recent 2000s GL beanie somewhere.

Drinkware! I had a Grumpy Bear glass and my sister had Cheer Bear, from Pizza Hut but we got them at the same antique store that had mlp friends and sparkle ponies. But alas, both have since broken, and I hope to replace them someday.

I am looking for some advice here care bear friends!  I bought a carebear recently and she came with some Dungarees. They are official care bear merchandise and the only info I can find on them is on Ghost of the doll. It comes from a care bear wear line in the 80s but I cant find any for sale anywhere, are they difficult to find?

I see some on eBay. I just used the term care bear wear. They are expensive tho. I also see them on etsy and mecari for cheaper.

Playful romper sounds like the set you have. I always wanted a raincoat for Grumpy bear..

Thanks everyone! I'll have to get better photos once my room is finished. Right now I have boxes everywhere waiting to be unpacked, lol. It's so nice to have my bears out again though. They've been in storage for like 15 years.

I stumbled across something very groovy yesterday; these little tins with tiny Care Bears! They were in one of those machines with the eggs. I got Cheer Bear!
They're supposed to be vanilla scented but it just smells like that weird scented gel pen vibe, fortunately it's not too overpowering. The tins themselves look really nice, I'm rather tempted to get a couple more!

Dang, Proud Heart sewing pattern from Butterick is $25 on Etsy while the other care bears are mostly  $5-10. Anyone seen the pattern for cheaper anywhere? I may need to take on a commission or two to help cover the cost. Doing Butterick commissions probably would be a good idea on a forum like this, anyway.

Guys I have a question. Should I buy a $25 Proud Heart Cat pattern w/o its envelope, or a $10 Treat Heart Pig pattern?

I finally was able to hang the majority of my Care Bears collection up on the wall above my bed!  Yay for looking up and seeing all the bear bottoms!  LOL  I'll have to take a photo...

Sounds like a more grown-up version of my old habit of having them behind my pillow as a kid.
