I finally was able to hang the majority of my Care Bears collection up on the wall above my bed!  Yay for looking up and seeing all the bear bottoms!  LOL  I'll have to take a photo...

I love seeing all those Care Bears!  I never had the plushes as a kid.  We mostly had the hard plastic, poseable bears.

I don't collect Care Bears, but I do like squishies and I found there are squishy Care Bears.  I don't know if they'll sell out.  But I thought Care Bear fans might be interested:

Good luck! He shouldn't be hard to find. I got a nice one for $8-12 on the MLPTP within the past year.


In other news, I got a Proud Heart pattern in the Halloween swap on here and the fur I got for it had a misleading description so I don't have nearly enough. However, I did get a commission! Someone wants Proud Heart but with a magnetic stomach for interchangeable symbols, white main color, and teal for paws/stomach/muzzle. It's gonna look neat.

I stumbled across something very groovy yesterday; these little tins with tiny Care Bears! They were in one of those machines with the eggs. I got Cheer Bear!
They're supposed to be vanilla scented but it just smells like that weird scented gel pen vibe, fortunately it's not too overpowering. The tins themselves look really nice, I'm rather tempted to get a couple more!

Used to have one of a bear sitting on a suitcase until I gave it away... pretty sure I remember it being love-a-lot but it was some time ago. Mine also from a coin vending machine. What is the facinating flocked fakie in your picture?

I got the 25th anniversary Tenderheart Bear and the fuzzy Funshine Bear on Sunday, and the other three today, all five from the antique mall. I'm trying to think of how I can give myself space for more bears. Thinking about maybe putting a lot of my fakies into storage and just keeping out my favorites, perhaps. That would give me a lot more space for bears.

The flocked fakie is a Magiki pony! They're very cute but they're also kind of dangerous - one pony can quickly become quite a few!
And sorry for the incredibly late response, I have been a bit haphazard at keeping up with things lately.

Oops, guess who got more bear stuff? I went to the antique mall again today. My mom has just moved into the antique mall and I helped her get her space in there set up. This antique mall is the second place she's had a spot in, but it didn't work out at the first place (kind of a long story so I won't get into it), and now we've got her space set up there. Anyway, so I'm going to be spending a lot more time there now so I'm probably going to be getting a lot more bears there lol.

The 25th anniversary Tenderheart looks great on display. It's not the softest so mine always ends up either in a box or on display. I ought to dig out the DVD that came with mine. The pilot episode is particularly nostalgic for me cuz I got it on VHS accidentally as a kid, recorded over a Scooby-Doo tape I got from a friend.

Hello, I only have a small  collection of care bears but i do hope i can add to it as the year goes by.
 For starters i have, Tenderheart and Sunshine bear by Kenner, both 7". 3 Macdonalds bears, sunshine, Cheery, and Make a wish Bears, and lovely Harmony Bear by hasbro. bacck in the 80's i had some of the small plastic bears, but i'm not too sure what became of them.

 I got a small Champ Bear plush for Christmas  (from the same antique store where I got my NIB Champ plush) but more importantly, I finished my custom Proud Heart Cat plushie commission!
