I would love to get into the mindset I had when I was younger. I litteraly lived in my own little pony world where I got into the personalities of my ponies. But like the OP said, I just can't do it anymore. I can't get back into it. What I do though is take a pony with me every so often when I go somewhere or visit my sister. She understands. Sometimes when I take my son to the playground I love to bring a pony with me just to fiddle with her hair a little and just hold it. Other then that I don't do anything with my ponies. I wish I had the mind of a child again. I miss it.

I do sometimes sleep with a pony. I usually bring it to bed with me, then I place it next to my face on my pillow, but the cold hard plastic usually starts to bug me and when I turn around she's in the way. I'm a difficult sleeper. It has to be pitch black, soundless (sleep with earplugs in) and everything has to be comfortable in my own way. A pony doesn't fit in that picture lol. So I usually end up putting it on my nightstand instead lol.

Oh and I do sometimes give them a kiss on the curve between the snout and cheek. That's such a kissable spot lol.

So to me that became "playing" now that I'm grown.

I do not play with my ponies either. I just done have that little creative mind that I had as a child. I think its cause as we get older our ways to thinking change and how we see things.

What I do enjoy doing with them though is cleaning them up and fixing there hair. Setting them all up nice and neat looking. And of course taking pictures of them!

I keep my ponies in clear, plastic boxes and enjoy arranging them in their order of release. I occasionally pick one out and bring her into the living room so I can "bond' with her and admire her.

I don't play with them in the way I did when I was younger, but like others here I enjoy taking photos of them, arranging them in order and cleaning/restoring them.

I can't help but imagine them as conscious, living things, so when I'm not interacting with them, they can all occupy each other, lol!

Not as much as a used to, but I'll organize plays and events for my ponies to participate in. I'll also dress the for holidays and take their pictures.

It surprises me how many people like taking pictures of their ponies. I prefer to admire them "in person". It's not like they are alive and do anything special like a child does for example. To me it just seems pointless to take picfures of ponies. The only time I take pictures of ponies is when I put them up for sale or use one as a profile picture or a brag. I believe I only have a few "random" pictures of ponies.

I only play with ponies when my daughter wants to play. Though I mainly like to brush their hair and talk to them. Someday I take more pictures of them all when I have a place to display them all.

I don't play with them anymore not in the child sense of the world though I do miss them days sometimes.

Though they get spa sessions, infact some of my childhood herd are having one tonight they have a trip out for nostalgia day at work on Friday so they need to be tidy and doing them tonight I can make sure they are fully dry.

I think it's kind of like the idea of "foodporn" and other similar things. obviously just looking at a picture of food isn't as good as eating it, but it still *pings* something in the brain that is pleasurable, like you can kind of enjoy it vicariously.  I like taking nice macro shots of toys (specifically ponies) that highlights details and show off how nice the toy is to someone who normally wouldn't look twice at it.  and I like seeing pictures of certain ponies that I really like, cause it gives that little *ping*.

I guess I'm not sure what constitutes "playing" with a pony but I do like to take pictures of them sometimes lol.

Great pictures! I especially love the last one. Clearly, she's on her way to challenge the Elite Four.

I never realized how pretty Twilight Twinkle is. I mean she's cute, but wow! Yours is really, really pretty!

Btw, that Sprite cup is the cutest! Where'd ya get it?

OBVIOUSLY lol.
Thanks though! Also the pop is actually lip gloss (lip smackers). They still sell some of their older stuff at Kmart apparently (or at least the one I went to).

No, I don't play with my ponies in the real sense. I like to take photo's of my new ponies when they arrive all dirty and messed up, and then while they are having their spa day. Then another after their spa day.

I just love choosing them new ribbons from my ribbon box. All ponies of all gens get ribbons in my house. I will pull out a random selection of ponies every so often and give them a spa day just because. Yes, I am looking at you Star Catcher.

Photos are so much fun. For me doing a photo shoot is like playing. Find/make the scene, mess around with 'scenarios' and take lots of pictures, and playing with filters. I really need to re-upload some of my pony photos!
