*Splashlings* little ocean-themed toys - where are they?

I recently (2 months ago) discovered these for my daughter - she loves mermaids + shells + the little pets that come with them.

They are roughly Shopkins sized and they "play well together" with them (and with the baby seaponies, too!)

But - WHERE are they? 

Most UK stores are out of stock; I managed to accidentally find 3 boxes of the 12-packs (including mermaids) and hurriedly bought them in time for Christmas, but I am especially after the little blue collector shell (approx £3).

Ebay/Amazon: some stuff there but no choice on what box you get; saw an Amazon scalper trying to sell the £3 blue shell at a crazy  £52!  so sad.

These cute little shells have suddenly turned into grails! I managed to buy 3 pre-owned ones off ebay - much to my daughter's delight, but the whole point of being a collectable is... well... being able to buy more to collect!  I know they are selling the pink starfish versions in the USA too, but it is the blue shells we especially like.

So - anyone (in the UK) seen these around?

Stores I have tried: Argos, TrU, Tesco, Smyths, Entertainer, Home Bargains, B+M Family, Asda, Sainsburys, Fenwicks (!), Morrissons, Debenhams, plus a few indie toy shops - to no avail!

I guess we will be deluged with them in the next few months - but such a shame they are not around to be bought as Christmas treats...

I'm in the US so I don't know if you're in the same boat as us. I've only seen them at TRU but Wave 1 clearanced out before they got any Wave 2 in. I've been waiting forever for them to stock Wave 2 and as of last week they've only just started very slowly trickling in. Like right now we literally have like one of two hooks of them only. So basically Wave 2 is taking it's sweet old time getting out.

I'm also in the US but I've only seen Splashlings at TRU and a few Walmart stores. Walmart has them hidden among the cheap/bargain toys. I think they might have been Wave 3 (I saw an artic mermaid).

Thanks for your replies - hmm they do seem slow in re-stocking these...

Spent the morning in town again - no dice! Showed a picture of the shells to staff in The Entertainer - apparently they had them a few months ago and they "clearanced" them off??!!?? Whuuut?

Hi! I haven't seen the shell but I say check TKMaxx I was in mine today and there were a few splashlings wave 1 packs

Hi again! I was in TKMaxx again yesterday so I had a look for splashlings.
I found
Wave 1 6 Packs with teal, lilac, and hot pink shells, and the medical clinic.
Unfortunately no blue shells or 12 packs but they keep getting new stuff in so it's possible they could come in soon

Thank you, Mlp sunsparkle, I have looked *very carefully* in 2 TKM stores so far, but cannot find them there! Hopefully they will be distributed to my area soon  what area of the country are you looking in?

I drove to Brent Cross, London, the other day - as the TRU website said they had them in-store - nope! The web site was wrong! It wasn't a wasted trip as I bought some other stuff...

I already have the medical clinic and the coral playset thingo that I managed to get at clearance prices, plus 3x packs of 12 from TRU when I visited their Oxford store (buying their last packs). I also have 2x packs of 6 that I bought a while ago and have saved towards Christmas. I have a few second-hand collector shells off of ebay plus my friend in the US has bought a couple of the pink starfish collector shells for me.

I think I have enough now!  BUT, due to becoming obsessed with finding them, I am still seeking them out, hehe!
