Price check Hybrid Moonstone/Sunbeam aka Sunstone Italy

I think her price as dropped alot I have seen at least 5 for sale this year. 2 are up for sale now. I would price her between $100-200. In my opinion she is not as rare as a few years ago lots of popped up and there has been some question to the authnitcity of some

If you are buying, look out for a head / body color difference.  There've been some popping up recently that are suspected of being a switcheroo with (Moondancer pose) Italian Moonstone's head and tail added to Italian Sunbeam's body.

A real rainbow haired Sunbeam has a sky blue body (like Hong Kong Sunbeam), including her head--not powder blue, like Moonstone.  (Essentially this pony is Sunbeam with rainbow hair, not Moonstone with Sunbeam's symbol.  And DEFINITELY not a mishmash of parts like a UK hybrid princess.  Hope that makes sense.)

Thank you for posting nhal, I had noticed there seemed to be more coming out of the woodwork as sometimes can happen with nirvana's. I do my price checks using ponies sold here and on eBay to create an average. There are some which go lower and higher, but price checking is getting hard these days with things being sold via Facebook, Instagram and privately

There have been a few that are "unanswered" such as a couple with a darker green stripe in their mane and a few with a head/body difference. When buying nirvana ponies, there is always a risk involved.

I have Sunstone as well, with head body mismatch, but her neckseal is still in place. Therefore I'm pretty sure she's still the real thing. Some people advised me to open it, but never do that. In that case there is indeed no way to tell if it's a fake Sunstone.

Hello. I got her today and I think I have been fooled. I messaged the person and if she doesn't respond I know for sure. I can already see she has read my messages.

The head and body do have a different color, there is glue residue around her neck. Brown residue not the translucent one. It is evening so it's dark now. But I will make pictures during daytime tomorrow for better color comparison. I will upload them here to ask for your opinions.

That sounds very suspicious. :/  Did you get her on eBay?  Their guarantee should have you covered.

No I didn't buy her on Ebay. I bought her on the Dutch Marktplaats. I am happy with her if she is genuine. But after seeing her and hearing the stories about fakies I am about 50/50. It could be a real one, but not too sure. I didn't open her up and I don't think I ever will. But I squeezed her bum and she does still have her Italian washer as far as I could feel, so no ziptie. I compared her head and body to my Moonstone and Sunbeam. But I think all of them are too discolored to say for sure. I will upload pictures tomorrow during the day.

And @Nella this has nothing to do with buyers remorse. I paid 50 euro for her, which is still a lot if she is fake. But nice price if it's the real one. I just like to make sure. Not that I can do anything about it anyway. Since MP doesn't cover buyers protection.
