Another idea would be taking the names of ponies and switching the prefix of the names to make random, silly names:

Twinkle Eye Fright Eyes
Twinkle Eye Socket
Princess Royal Glue
Raspberry Spam
Sparkle Slapper

I'm voting for this because Raspberry Spam is just the best!

I like this too, but I also like Gingerbreads bum idea.  This really needs to be super funny.

Well, I love both the dinosaur idea and the rejected reindeer names. Oh this is going to be awesome!

Farter and Tooter were booted from the team because poor Santa was always downwind on those cold, Christmas nights.

Wander was the google map of the team. He said he knew where he was going, but they always got hopelessly lost. Gods forbid anyone dare ask for directions when he was in front!

Trampler got kicked off because of an  incident involving her and a grandma...unfortunately, there were witnesses.
