My advice would be to watch the Euro ebay sites (UK, France, Germany, etc). You may find her hidden in a lot, or for a BIN. She'll be more common on those than on the US ebay. Just be careful that the seller will actually ship to you though, or have a friend in said country willing to bid on your behalf.

Shipping costs from the UK to the US for one small baby pony even with tracking isn't too excessive, not like it is the other way around, and the exchange rate is currently better for US buyers than in the past. But I wouldn't say that it's likely she'll come up hidden in a lot as mostly people spot those kinds of babies in lots and the lots end up going higher. Lots also incur shipping hikes because of weight. It's better to look for buy it nows from people who don't know what they are selling.

Baby Sapphire is a rare pony even in the countries she was sold, though, so you might need to have a lot of patience to hunt her down ;) I have only ever had one of her in 20 years of collecting and that's the one in my own collection which came from the childhood ponies of a local collector living near my home back in 1998. Some areas seem to produce more than others, but she was produced for a smaller market than most of the US release ponies and is in high demand, so I would definitely say patience is the key ;)

These days there are also so many UK ponies in the US and vice versa that I would actually think that there's no guarantee she'll come up more in the UK any more. It's not like it was 20 years ago, so the bargain you're looking for might end up being closer to home.
