 In the 6th grade, G1s were no longer being produced so I started getting them at garage sales and antique shops back when you could find them EVERYWHERE.  I've been acquiring/buying/collecting for 30 years!  I love my pony room but with a toddler and a new baby on the way, I might have to put a lot of it in storage.  So, things always change!

Discourage, seeing your collection inspires me to get up and sort out my own  :biggrin:

Well, I've shown the storage bin for the non-displayed part of my collection (or at least, it stores most of the non-displayed part. There are two ponies and a playset who instead live in my closet). But I will soon be showing the ponies out of the bin, and the two with the playset as well.

Most of my collection is packed up from removing from a display at a toy museum, so I don't have any recent photos but I do have a link to the Facebook post I made about putting up the display with photos.

Oh my gosh - some of those rooms... I need them in my life!

I have to mention that when I designed my pony display area I was the sad owner of just 3 ponies. The rest being mysteriously missing. And so, at that time, it did seem to be a lot of space. Anyhoo, I am sure we can get some more shelves in there for now (covers face with hands)...

I think it's amazing how a small collection or a large one can both equally make a big statement. The displaying I think is such an important part. They can me prominently showcased or cozily mixed in  :relaxed:

I looove seeing collection photos so much.

I used to have a special room where my ponies lived, but I got divorced and had to move to a much smaller place. I really miss how nice they looked there, but the good news is... I have my own bedroom now so they all live at the foot of my bed!
