Thank you very much Glitterball. Indeed, this tutorial is wonderful. I love being crafty like that. I'm so happy to have done this to my childhood pony, it means something to me. ^^
I am sorry Leave a Whisper, I have no idea why you can't see them. I can see them though. =/

WOW! Some of these are very impressive! I have a link below to my facebook page, there are few on there that I did before! I have some that are waiting right now.  I see a few tips that I am going to have to try! :)

Finally done with Gingerbread  :frolic:
I was not very good at documenting but here have some at least.

The head inside is clean with no sign of rust spot,
but sadly there was still some spots left in the body which also have given spots on some areas outside of the body.
So a sunbath might be an optition (when the sun comes back at least)
On the tail only a small hue is left. I scrubed her 10 times with toothpaste. Ten times more maybe it would have beens gone lol.

she have some highlights from markers on her body like the pink spot on the cheek and some yellow stripes on one side left. But

To me she is perfect  :lovey:

Thank you. I must admit I freaked out a bit when I took of her head as I thought it was more then rust and that bugs might have taken hold. Thankfully 100% rust dust from the metal ring.

Beautiful restores everyone!

I always forget to take before pictures so I think this is the only one I have. Even the before picture is after I cleaned her up, she was very grubby.

Shy Violet, baby Quackers looks amazing!  :lovey:
The sun-fading also really worked for your other ponies too - so effective! I love the little eye-patch you made to protect the eye paint!
So-softs are always tricky, though, I admire anyone who wants to clean those!

I am loving looking at these before and after photos! And making notes for myself as well. I have a few ponies with pin dot that I thought were beyond help, but I will be giving them another spa day soon. Truly amazing restorations all around everyone! These ponies were all so lucky to have you all!

I absolutely love seeing restorations! There are some seriously talented people out there  :)

Pin dot is so hard to get off... I hate doing it myself

Here are three of my restorations; I am also not so great about before and after photo's:

Munchy - who was covered in cat wee and had brown slimy stuff inside

NightGliderSA, great work!

Poor Whizzer, I look forward to seeing the paint-job on your nicely-restored muzzle!

How gorgeous are those custom cola bottle wings?

Rosedust is absolutely stunning with those wings.  Congrats NightGliderSA !
All your restorations are really great, good job ! I really like how Stripes turned out. Her curls are so pretty and vibrant.  :lovey:
What did you use to fix Whizzer's mouth ? It might come in handy for me, as I have this poor Blushie whom has seen horrible things.

Thanks everyone, I appreciate your comments  :)

RoseNoire, I used a product called Modeling Paste Paintable Texture Fine or Glass by DecoArt www.decoart.com as we do not have the normal products like Sculpy available in South Africa.
