Yes, as per what  Strawberrysweets suggested, they are a good site for hair! Nylon fantasy pony hair comes in all sorts of amazing colours and some sites have a chart to help you colour-match certain pony hair.

If you are planning on re-hairing, I suggest you have a look on you-tube for tutorials to give you an idea.

Some tools you will need:

scissors - to cut off remaining hair
hemostats (or long-nose pliers) - to help pull out tails and manes from the inside - VERY useful tool!

for the old-fashioned knot hair rehairing method:
doll needle - long and strong
extra strong thread - this pulls the new hair through the holes on the pony plastic

or the faster re-root tool method:
reroot tool - has a "broken" needle eye to push hair into the pony plastic
glue - to adhere your re-roots from inside to stop the hair falling out when styling

that's it for starters - hope you get the answers you need - re-hairing becomes addictive!

Use the sites linked to purchase the new hair, there should be guides for color matching or you can always ask the people here to help you identify the correct shade of hair to get!
The tail is much less time consuming than the hair. This video seems to explain the tools and basics for rehairing. She may use a G4 but the techniques are pretty much the same on any generation. She uses a rerooting tool, but there is the ol' string and floss technique. Here's a non-video tutorial for the floss technique: http://ponycustoms.com/88/my_little_pony_tutorials/hair/rehairing/how-to-rehair-my-little-pony-manes/

So you know how you have a simple image tag?
[img.]https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4392/36748121103_d645ea8b79_z.jpg[./img] (Ignore the periods in the image tags)
This just puts the picture on the thread in the same size it is on your hosting site. Since your pics are too big on the host site, they would be too big on the arena. Now, if you do this...
[.img width=600]https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4392/36748121103_d645ea8b79_z.jpg[./img] (Ignore the periods in the image tags again)
It will have a width of 600 and a proportional height. To do this just put in the first image tag "width=600" without the quotation marks. It doesn't have to be 600 pixels though. Any size you want as long as it isn't too big :) Keep in mind the space between where it says img and the width part. (Like this: [img width=600]) This way it won't be too big for the arena :) Hope that this helps!
