In junior and high school I wasn't well liked and didn't have many friends. There was this guy who started being nice to me and asking me to sit with him at lunch. I thought someone was finally starting to like me and show a genuine interest in me only to find out later that he was only being nice to me because someone put him up to it just so they could laugh at me. PonyfanI'm so sorry A similar thing happened to me in high school.

I. the ex who took me to meet his mother: she was readying the "daughter-in-law suite" so she and he could kidnap me, trap me, and make grandbabies from me.... Yeah, bye!II. the ex who declared to MY mom, that his professional goal in life was to grow illegal mushroomsIII. the ex who took me out to dinner, then when he finished eating, loudly shouted at me, "Do you want my scraps?!" loud enough that others stared at us...IV. the ex who decided that he was too awkward to ask my age, then invited me to a show at a bar, then had the perfect excuse to dump me at the front doors of the show because, "I don't want to date a 19-year-old!" My retort that the bouncer heard, that kept them out of the club: "And this did not matter 2 hours ago when we were having sex on your couch!!!"northstar3184, we may have met the same person, LOL !!!V. the ex who I met up with from online, well, he was just a friend and we were seeing if there would be chemistry, you know? and well... there wasn't. so he went back to his bathroom and HOWLED with hysterical tears and WAILING for the rest of the night. I had to physically man-handle him out of my presence in the morning because he thought that he could Try Again and Glomp-Cuddle-Cling in public!!!!
LOl @ that marriage proposal! That's hilarious! Funny story (not a horror though, but let's lighten this up a bit!) I did get asked out by an ex the day before my wedding for the night of my wedding - he did seem like a genuinely nice guy though, but he got a girl pregnant when they were seriously young, and admittedly the last thing I'd said to him on the subject of dating was that I wasn't ready for step-mum status at 18, maybe in a few years. It was 4 years later, and he called me out of the blue, maybe we should catch up tomorrow night, see if we could pick things up where they left off? So I obviously told him that that wouldn't work, because I'm actually getting married tomorrow.. and thankfully he saw the funny side of that. But dude, ask around! All my friends obviously knew I was getting married, and we'd originally met through friends, so...
