Hello everyone. I am happy to join this community.

You can call me Rosy or just Rose. I am 19 years old and live in Belgium, I speak French and English and study IT in college. My most important person in my life is my boyfriend. He knows I'm weird, he accepted my toy collection immediately, that's amazing. 

 I have always been a huge mlp fan. I grew up in the G3 era,  got some G1's from a stepsister and that is how I began my collection, asking for more when I was little and a teen. When I was a late teenager, I stopped a bit because of some sort of depression but now that I'm out of it and all grown up, I I walk through every flea market / attic sales I can in my region to get MOAR ! I like to collect them for the creative value they hold (customs for instance, of just the relaxing time I have when I restore them) and I just find them pretty, they make me a kid again and they pour color in our dim world. I find that comforting.

I have 142 ponies (G1,2,3, a couple of G4, some breezies, 3 flutter ponies and a handful of plushies from my childhood). My main thing is to restore them, I like to make their hair smooth and magnificent again. I tried to repaint a couple of eyes and it turned out somewhat okay.  I'd like to make customs out of the doubles I have but I don't have the material nor I have ideas yet. I collect G1,2 and 3. G4 doesn't appeal to me and G3.5... what G3.5 ? ;D
 
Unfortunately, I currently don't have a house on my own so 90% of my ponies live in boxes, the other 10% are waiting to be stored. I can't wait to have them all cleaned an displayed. I check them to see if they're doing okay and just to watch them from time to time.

I don't have a full view of my collection yet, but I have some pictures of my "recent ones". I'll also show you my first custom made flutter ponies wings. I'm proud of them, haha.

I am currently starting a new topic for my restorations because I need help and advice about fungi and yellowing on my G1's. I guess that kind of topic goes in the "custom" section. There's no "restoration" one. ^^'

Nice to meet you. Sounds like you have quite a collection already! I totally agree with you on the aesthetic value of ponies - there's just something about the pastel coloured world that makes one feel all fuzzy and warm!

Welcome! I also speak a bit of French, so bonjour! I’m  in Canada and all, so I can speak a bit. English is my first language though. Sounds like you have quite the collection! We have tons of advice on restorations and customizing ponies. So browse to your hearts delight! Say. I’ve never been to Belgium before. Anything interesting about the place? I heard that’s where waffles are from. Never actually got that confirmed.

Yes, I really hope to have my own home to display them and have them all beautiful. I still have a lot of cleaning to do in my old ones, I'm making my task simpler by cleaning my newcomers so I don't have too much of them to take care of at once. )
Yes, Belgium is interesting and very pretty. I would recommend city trips there, some of them are quite touristic. And yes, me invented waffles, I think. Well, I'm not sure, but at least they have great reputation. ^^
