What are some of your long-time childhood wants?

I wanted the mail order TAF babies. The adults were my favorites and I wanted their babies. Also, apparently I wanted Mimic but I didn't know that until a couple months ago, lol. I found my old pamphlet that I used to admire all the time and the pony I always loved in the pamphlet turns out to be Mimic. I never had any twinkle eyes as a child and unicorns were my favorite.

When I was a kid I’d play that one G2 computer game all the time. But I was too young when the US had the toys so I ALWAYS wished I could get a toy of Ivy!

I wanted the nursery as a child never got it until now. Also I really love to have the little waterfall someday. I dont care if it rusts ect I just want it. :/ I like to complete the play and care set of the baby ponies too. And all the Big brother hats. :/

I wanted the other TEs featured in the cartoons (I had Sweet Stuff). Specifically, I wanted Galaxy, Gingerbread, Masquerade & Fizzy.

I also wanted the pearlized baby pony set. I loved the beach picture with them in the little pamphlet.

I grew up during g3. While I never got really into it, I always wanted star-catcher. My friend had her, and I was always stunned at how pretty she was! In the end the friend and I had to stop being friends (a large fight) but I always will remember looking at her pony collection and thinking “holy smokes!” Because it was so lovely. I wanted them all, but star catcher would have been the best thing ever to me then. And even now!

I wanted all the years 1 & 2 & 3 ponies for sure.  But I think I would have settled for G1 Minty, Medley, Posey, Up Up and Away, and Trickles.    I was pretty happy with what I had though.  I ended up with over 20 ponies and felt that was a big collection.

Oh my gosh - so many! 

Hopscotch: a 'friend' of mine had her and I wanted her from the moment I saw her. And to rub salt into the wound this person was not actually a real friend. Just a 'friend' - you know. I have her now though haha!

Medley: I have Italian Medley, need the regular version. I remember staring at her picture on a back card and wishing and wishing. But no, sorry for you, she wasn't forthcoming.

Firefly: Oh I wanted her, but so badly! Now I have a gorgeous girl with her factory curl. And another rescue case who also has her factory curl, but has been chomped by a dog on her hind leg. Poor pony 

Flutter ponies, big brother ponies and glow n show ponies: I cannot remember wanting any one pony out of these sets specifically; any would have done please pretty please? Now I have 4 flutters (no wings though), two of one big brother (WigWam), Daddy Sweet Celebrations and Daddy Apple Delight. Still no Glow n Shows. But no worries, this gives me something to work towards. But as they were childhood 'wants' I am now determined to get them ALL.

However, that being said, I now have plenty of ponies of whoes existence I had previously been oblivious. Such as Scandanavian Truly, TAF Nightglider, TAF Munchy, Kiss Curl, Stripes and Posey to give but a few examples. I love learning more about ponies and their variants, it is such a fascinating subject.

I've always wanted the G3 Crystal Rainbow Castle, but alas, I was never able to afford it. Now I have a job... and no space to put one. Ah well, someday. :T
