Show me your.... Halloween decorations!!

Halloween is one of, if not my favorite, holiday! But this year our HOA implented new rules that severely reduce what decorations we can put up. We can't put anything outside anymore at all for Halloween or Christmas   Someone thinks a decorated public area will reduce the property value. 
 

So I'm going to stock up on window clings and live vicariously through all of you!

That's annoying.  My brother got so sick of his HOA's stupid rules that he bought a new house and moved his family.  He said if he wanted to be treated like an errant child he wouldn't have bothered to grow up.

I don't have any up at the moment. In the UK Halloween isn't celebrated as widely as in the US, which is a shame as it is my favourite holiday. Nice decorations are few and far between.

Last year I put some of my (real) skulls in the windows with LEDs in, pumpkins outside the front door and my lifesize plastic skelly hung up outside. Think there were plastic bats too. In the past I have taken balloons and hung them from trees with white sheets over them. In fact I may do that again this year, they are really effective.

That really sucks! I would say it would actually be good for the property value, because decorations show what a nice, lively neighbourhood it is.

I live in a flat, so I can't have any decorations outside, but I do have some nice things around the house!

I also have a pumpkin garland, but I can't put it up yet because it will be warm this week (totally unexpected, I thought it was autumn?), and I can't fully open the open the window if the garland is up. Guess I'll have to wait another week.

The apartments I use to live at had a HOA where no holiday decorations could be visible from indoors. Yep if you could easily see it through the front windows it was a nope. You had to move items away from the windows.

My current apartment isn't like that so I can decorate outside but most of mine is indoors. Because it's usually windy and I don't feel like chasing my decorations around. I help my BFF decorate her house and she has a great set up.
