omg he's so cute, looks like hes made of gummy candy! A bit of a receding hairline but I think that adds to the appeal 

He's very soft to the touch. I've never saw another like him. (Also on the road to major plasticizer breakdown land...)

I had a couple of those Donkey's in my childhood herd! And yes they are glow in the dark! I had also alot of thos fakie GlowBugs, and each night I put them al under a big lamp in the livingroom, so I could take them upstairs to my bedroom!

I have one of those somewhere, I didn't know they glowed in the dark!
I also have a donkey-like fakie with a unicorn horn, which is, um, different. I shall have to hunt him out and take a photo.

A GitD pony (the yellow one) was actually the first pony-toy I had as a kid... until another kid in Kindergarten stole it from me... *sigh*

As far as fakies go  the donkeys are fairly generic.
Like remcos and fakies of remcos they seam to pop up all over the place.

Unlike remcos tho  no one truly knows where they originated from.

Nope, not wrong link... that's Rainbow doing what rainbows do... running through the air! I know not everypony here is from gen 1 so maybe I ought to have explained better but Rainbow Locket (also called Rainbow of Light) was not a pony...  it was like the sentient superhero protector of Dream Valley though and really cool... I'll have to post my pony fakies later... got a lot of them!

Well, considering that this is a thread about fakies, and that's a video of a girl doing a dance, it is a little confusing I think Beatles was expecting a toy. It does resemble the Rainbow though!
