1980's G1 Pony Halloween Costume

Hi,

There was some discussion about the 80's pony costumes and what's out now for G4 pony costumes so I thought I'd post this picture of me wearing my 80's pony costume. I never have figured out why the mask is Bubbles and the costume has Buttons.

They made costumes for g1?! Learn something new everyday... I agree though. It is quite strange how the shirt and the mask don't quite add up together. The mask though...can I also get one to scare the pants of people?

Mistaken identity?
I never had a MLP one but I did have a Peppermint Rose costume like this.  Whenever I see photos, I think what were people thinking back then?  The darn things are creepy, and cheap...lol.

The packaging for the costume would be cute/interesting to see.

I didn’t know there were unicorn masks to go with the costumes.  I figure the wrong mask must have been in the package.

So its official. I've finally found something Pony that creeps me out more then BBEs and the big BBEs.

I wish I still had the costume but I think it got thrown away at some point. I have another picture of me wearing the costume without the mask but the quality is worse than this one.

I think the humanoid 1980s licensed "character" costumes were far more scary...

Try the humanoid costumes.  Strawberry Shortcake, Rainbow Brite, LADY LOVELYLOCKS! BARBIE!  Why anyone thought the masks were a good idea is beyond me.

T-shirts printed with the graphics would have been so much better...
