Just heard about this. Not very familiar with Playboy, but from what I do know they treat their people very well, so I have a lot of respect for them. Glad Hugh lived a long life though, 91 is certainly very good!

91 is a very good age! Not many love that long. I don't like the whole idea of playboy (just never really thought of it as interesting, but I don't have anything against them) and he did treat his employees, all employees, well. We need more people in business like this guy! With a dream, an idea and knowing how to treat your employees!

So it looks like he will soon be occupying that famously reserved space next to Marilyn Monroe at the cemetery - she was the first model to feature in Playboy and Hef would often say how he planned to spend eternity next to her!

Wow, I almost didn't believe it, rest in peace Hef.
In the last few years so many great celebrities have left us, people I had known of all my life. It felt like they'd never die, but I guess they'll live on forever in our memories.

I couldn't believe it when it came on Good Morning Britain as breaking news. Looks like I won't be watching the old Simpsons episode Krusty gets cancelled because he appears in that episode. 

Another great legend has gone, first Liz Dawn who died on Monday night. Now he has died.

I hope it doesn't become like 2016 where we had all of those deaths.

In general he seemed like a creepy old guy who monetized women's bodies and, whatever his personal relationships / views of women, certainly presented them as being nothing but objects that existed for males to gawk at.  I mean, calling your employees "bunnies" and "playmate of the month"?  That's creepy.

I feel like he was treated differently / forgiven of a lot because he was rich.

I have no opinions about this person either way. However, my heart goes out to anyone close to him that has been caused grief due to his death. Whether an individual is likable or not, loss is loss and death is death.
