Pc Please Boxed G1 Sea Pony (Wavedancer?) Pic added!

Hello

A friend of mine in the US is considering selling her boxed G1 sea pony (I think it's Wavedancer?) And has asked me to help. I thought I'd ask you guys for price ideas as I'm not sure quitewwhat she's worth. Her brush and comb and ribbon are all fixed in the box but the box itself isn't sealed.

I can't find a sold listing for this sea pony, but for another sea pony (Whitecap.) nib, sold for $332.70.

2nd set Sea Ponies go much higher than first set sea ponies, but I have no clue about their value in their box like that. Especially Wavedancer, because she's the only one of the adult sea ponies with a release in the US and in the UK (where gaspode is and where she might sell it). That might make her more popular or less, depending on demand...

I genuinely don't know what a fair price is for her. I wouldn't expect her to go as high as that White Cap did (Whitecap also had her sticker which is costly in itself) but they don't come up so often in box...

Hmm, I'm not sure how much she'd be worth.  But like other posters have said, she won't be worth nearly as much as a MIB Whitecap or any other Year 3 sea pony.  The Year 3 adults are very hard to find compared to the more common Year 2 sea ponies.

I don't know much about individual seaponies but a few years back when I was stalking MOC/MIB auctions regularly for a few years a lot of these went for around $200 a piece, more for something rarer.

So I did a closed auction ebay search for adult sea ponies in box that ended recently.
There was a UK Surfdancer on 5th September which sold for £75 but that was a BIN so I don't know if she might have gone higher at actual auction.

There was a US Seawinkle on August 17 that was an open auction and was bid up to $75.56

I think that if you had Sealight or Seawinkle and were selling them in the UK in person at a UK event you could make more than that because they weren't sold here. Wavedancer/Wavebreaker is the one universal pony so I am unsure how that affects her price - whether it makes her more or less in demand over here.

At the very least though it gives you something to work with when pricing her?
