I THINK if you heat the legs enough the plastic will soften enough to pop the plugs out. Then just make sure the new tail is the same thickness as the old one so the knot/tie in it isn't so big it gets in the way of putting the legs back in.
Hmm I was wondering about heat, though the plastic plugs seem quite large. But then again it was assembled at the factory somehow so it must have been pushed through the body at some point?
I'll give that a go, maybe leave her in some hot water for a bit and see if I can do it. Will post here if it works so you know too, NsMLPonies
Thanks!

I got the legs off much easier than I thought, didn't need to heat the pony but it turns out there's a peg/shaft thing running between the two legs and it snapped. It's probably possible to repair the joint, maybe in a similar way to how teddy bears arms and legs are put together? I'll see what my Mum can come up with as she makes teddy bears and I imagine the principle is the same. But it's all very narrow inside, barely any room to even fit a new tail so I think she'll be a challenge.
