Paypal Verification Pains

The other day I tried to transfer some $$ from my checking account to paypal and got a notice that without verification, I am not allowed to do that. They want me to send them a copy of my photo ID, Proof of address and social security #. I called PP today and the lady told me this is a new security measure. I can do everything but move $$ to PP. I just feel uncomfortable sending them this stuff. So now I need to get back to selling to get a PP balance back or sellers have to wait a few days for the request from PP to clear. Sort of sucks! Especially with Photobucket messing things up too!

It's such a hassle. I wanted to change the name associated with my PP but I need all these documents to do it. I don't understand why. I buy a lot of digital artwork and there is no reason Artist XYZ needs to know my first name

Even changing the smallest details is such a hassle! I feel your pain.
