Any interest? Mlp/Unicorn subscription box with custom pony??????

Hi!

I posted over in the dollhouse section about my idea for an American girl doll subscription box, but figured that I should go ahead and ask about a pony box over here.

So, my question is, would anyone be interested in a MLP/Unicorn/horse/Pegasus themed box? It would include a custom mlp to match the theme of the box for that month, 2 mlp's (one possibly being a blind bag.), some MLP items (maybe handmade ponywear, stickers, puzzles, etc.) maybe a fakie or two, some stationery items like pencils, notepads, etc. Some handmade items, and a few other things. Each box would cost around  $30.00 + shipping. I would ship internationally,  but the buyer must cover all costs. Overall there would be 8-10 items in a box.

Let me know what everyone thinks!

There is a My Little Pony subscription box already, the My Little Pony Express, that's mainly for G1. I think if you bring something different to the table you could get some interest

Yes, I am planning on doing something different. Not g1, more like g3-g4 and other horse style things. Maybe some handmade hair accessories too?

Edit to add: It would also mostly be custom items, like I said before, it would include a custom pony, handmade ponywear, etc.

My only concern would be the ability to keep up with orders! Making more than one custom pony per month PLUS various custom items sounds kind of impossible! And easy to get overwhelmed!

I was thinking more along the line of a box every 2 months. Plus each pony would be a reroot/eye/cutie mark repaint. No molding, etc. So it wouldn't be too hard to keep up.

How about, instead of a subscription box, you'd offer mystery boxes? It would be pretty much the same thing but without having to worry about doing it regularly in case it gets overwhelming, since you could offer them as often and as many as you can produce. You could even vary the contents - say, offer a variety of cheaper boxes with only a couple of items and more expensive ones along the lines of your description above.

If the boxes (whatever the format) contain non-custom ponies and official merch in addition to handmade items, you may post them in Sales. Just a tip to ensure you'll get more views!

Ty!!! I guess that I should call them mystery boxes instead of subscription boxes, as they would be more along the lines of what you described. And yes, they would include MLP items as well. Not just custom/handmade. Ty for the advice!

Yeah, I would be more interested in a mystery box- say, if my husband didn't know what to get me for my birthday, or if I win a tiny lottery- subscription box does sound like you are in it for the long haul. This sounds like a swap, but instead of sending you gifts, we send money. It could be really interesting!

Ty for all of the advice everyone!!!!! And I will definitely label them as "mystery" boxes instead of "subscription" boxes. For those who are curious about the payment process, you would pay a month and a half in advance. That way I know how many custom ponies that I will have to make. I'll update this post later with a list of items that will be included in each box.

Ok, here are a list of items that will be included in each box:

-1 custom pony.
-1 set of handmade ponywear made to match the custom pony.
-1 not customized my little pony.
-1 set of handmade accessories (maybe a saddle or hair accessory?).
-1 set of handmade pony food (made out of clay.).
-1 puzzle, fidget spinner, or a yo-yo (something along those lines.).
-1 other pony (mlp or fakie.).
-1 blind bag toy (mlp, lps, shopkins, etc.).
-the other items will be complete mysteries!

Each box will cost $34.99 plus shipping.
