Because looking can't harm anyone, right? And looking and ponies is fun, right? And that is really all you intended on doing, honest! When you see a listing for vintage ponies on Craigslist, click it, and it shows G3s. And then in the description it says " Vintage my little ponies. They are all marked Hasbro 2008."

Or when you see a custom listing on eBay with a before and after picture and see they made it out of a rare pony or a pony in great condition. Especially if it's one of your most wanted ponies

The stores do it on purpose, I'm sure of it! A bit like those cat protection charity adverts - guilt-trip purchases for lonely ponies!
