The Divine Shines break down easily. They can become sticky and the glitter can dissolve in to them even when they're still in the box. This has happened with my Glitterbelle. My Glitterbelle's head is a different color than her body also. I think the color difference is due to the plastic breaking down. They're such pretty ponies.Ponyfan
Yeah these girls can go any which way, it all depends on how or why they break down. Some retain perfect colour through the break down of the plastic, and they just lose their glitter. One I have has broken down, and her colour is completely wrong, and her head has no glitter, but her body still has some. There's no rhyme or reason to it, you just don't know what's going to happen until it does. It's frustrating, especially for mint collectors. I was so excited for this set, because the sparkle ponies in G1 were my favourite set, but I do tend to avoid these, even in nice condition - it's sad really!
