This makes me happy in a ridiculous kind of way as I already don't have enough space for the ones I have

Pfff, you and me both XD Somehow they just kind of grow on you and then the next thing you know suddenly they're all over the house...

I hope they don't change the faces too much, too. I love the fact that their faces aren't *exactly* like they are in the cartoons, I really hope they don't change them to be more "show accurate"..

Newsflash: You may have a zombiedoll in your midst. That's how I got over 100 EQGS. Cellyzombie ate my brains because she wanted friends and clothes. That's my story and I am sticking to it.

But yeah, please, please don't screw this up Hasbro - they could make a killing considering the dissatisfaction with the G2 Monster High and EAH.

(And yes, if they are better articulated, Cellyzombie's already been promised the first Rarity body we come across.)

Wh...

They look awful  They don't even look like EQGs.. heck I would've preferred more "show accurate" faces over.. whatever this is meant to be..

Oh wow, their faces are quite different from the previous ones, aren't they?  I do like them better, though.  The grin on the previous ones fell into the uncanny valley for me.

(Also the clothes look less generic.)

Ooh! I'm happy they gave Rainbow Dash pants! The clothes in general look much nicer and more detailed than they used to! Their eyebrows seem a little thick though.

I think this is in general improvement. However, (complaint time!) I do not like Pinkie Pie's outfit because the skirt is practically the same color as her hair. Rainbow Dash doesn't look as recognizable because her bangs have blue in them. And I don't understand the half black apple on Applejack's shirt. Plus, where is her hat? Please don't tell me her new cartoon design is without hat.

Haha, so all in all I'm only tempted to buy Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer. But only temptation, I probably will skip these.

One more thing, arm articulation! Seems these ones don't have leg articulation however.

I find the new dolls kind of creepy honestly. It looks like they tried really hard to make them look more like a real human and completely removed all the cartoonish qualities that make them actually look like Equestria Girls. They removed those qualities to the point where I would honestly like them better if they had gone all the way with it and removed the ears and stuck to flesh tones for the skin. I can't help but think there's something medically wrong with them when I look at them. It's just an uncomfortable balance of realism vs cartoon for me. Like Rainbow Dash suffocating and Rarity is a statue they're carrying around type thing. I'm hoping I will like them better in person or after seeing more pictures. The only one I like at all right now is Fluttershy but even she is rather off putting.

Duenia - you just hit the nail on the head, that's exactly how I feel about them. They're just way too "uncanny valley" :( And generic.. they look like they could be any old character now. The old faces were so cute...

Fully agreed. They look so uncanny and ugly to me.
They do not remind me of MLP or even EQG. They look like random human dolls with weird skin colors.
I also dislike how they no longer have a cutie mark on their face or the fact they do not have wings. Again, they look as if they have hardly anything to do with MLP. : /

Alright... probably the only one but they quite remind me of Rosia Wachtmeister Cats. Especially Applejack and Fluttershy.

Wh... why... why do they all have the dreamworks face...

I mean, Rainbow, Rarity and Sunset look okay, I suppose. Pinkie looks... not happy, Twilight looks like someone taxidermied a corpse and propped it up for a photoshoot, Applejack looks like an actual demon and Fluttershy... eeehi can't quite pin down what exactly is wrong with her face, but it's going to give me nightmares. She reminds me of those infamous Belle dolls that stuck Emma Watson's face on a doll's head and body and ended up looking really constipated, except this one is way scarier.

Again, why do they ALL HAVE THE SAME EXPRESSION.

It looks like they crossed the older dolls with the Descendants.
