Sticky G2s
« on: October 08, 2017, 04:43:06 AM »
I've noticed recently that a lot of my adult G2s have become sticky. I'm guessing it's plasticizer leaking? Is there anything I can do about it? I'll planning to try to remove it with a wet towel, but I'm it probably won't solve the problem.

In my experience, only time and/or a change in environment temperature will help. I've bought sticky G2s from Europe, only for the stickiness to magically vanish after a few days here in the Aussie climate, whilst with others you just keep wiping down and waiting and waiting...  >_<
I finally found my grail!

Yep, that happens. Try not to have them in sealed bags etc. I've cleaned them with... eye make-up remover and that helped for some reason xD

I have that problem too. I have washed mine throughly with dish soap scrubbing them with a cloth and an old tooth brush. It removed the stickyness but it returns after a while :(

That's really interesting. Maybe air humidity has someting to do with this happening?
