Since I'm currently at my parents place, I've been working my way through a bunch of various toys and giving them some TLC.
I don't have a hair straightener/curler. I've been trying conditioner, and hot water. It seems to work beautifully for some but not others. These are all really well played with, either being my own from childhood, my sister's or cousins, so it's possible their hair is just a bit beyond repair. I'm also a bit too scared to even start on my G1/2s and I only tried one tinsel pony, the least matted one. Most of my adulting-collection have great or manageable hair already so I haven't really needed to do much to them until now.
My major issue ponies are Meadowbrook and Dibble Dabble.
Here's all of my before/afters so far - you can see some turned out beautifully while others, not so much, if you're intersted: http://imgur.com/a/cm2Jp
Dibble Dabble is just... frizzy and dry.
