We had over 2 minutes of totality here - it was awesome! Saw the diamond ring and everything. My cousin came up from Arizona and he got some great photos and video of it. The neighbor had his telescope out with a solar filter and we got to look a few times before totality - could see some sunspots that way.A couple shots I took during totality:visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

It was 80% here and it actually got darker more than I was expecting. Think early morning haze but at mid morning. The library was the only one to get glasses and they had to share with two other branches. Despite days of "go here for a party...." with details. People were still lining up well past the 150 mark. My friends and I arrived at 5AM,there was one other couple that was ahead of us. We spent the next four hours guarding our spots from line jumpers. The lack of manners was astonishing.People could learn a few things from our favorite ponies.
