Artemesia, welcome back. Sorry about the break up:( you have some great goals many of us should be thinking about too:) I am not a smoker, but I do have binge eating habits. I drink water in hopes to trick myself that I am thirsty not hungry. We can get through this together.

I added another goal. Started thinking that I need to do a bit more. I have a planner, so I am going to write down what I have done and should do in hopes to keep my focus.

Okay, I've been thinking about some of the things I'd like to do in three months. 

1. I want to walk more.  My work is participating in a step-counting competition put on by our local health centers.  Basically, we have to keep track of how many steps we take every day and the company that does the best wins a prize (I think it's something like $300, so not a lot but it could buy a pizza party or something). 

2. I want to be better about what I eat.  I've been doing really well (and lost 20 lbs in the process) but there's still room for improvement. 

3.I want to finish all the projects that I've already started.  I have 16 things that have been started (that I can think of off the top of my head--there are probably more than that) and are sitting around my room waiting for me to get my act together and finish them.  There are two that I can think of that I started and I have no idea where I'm going with them.  I may ask for suggestions when I get to them if I still haven't figured them out.   

4.  I need to stop swearing.  It's a bad habit that I've picked up over the last few years and while the occasional curse is not concerning, I'm afraid that my swearing is becoming more commonplace than I should allow it to be.  So it needs to be curbed.

I think that's good for a start and if I think of something else I'll be sure to add it.

I REALLY need to get in on this! Given my life of late, I need to stop floating down the depression whirlpool and get my life back on track. This month especially my hormones hit at the same time as my emotional low, and I was really on the edge, I actually took a handful of phenergan over a couple of hours because I was so upset I couldn't sleep, and then I just stopped caring and kept taking them. I was so worked up that I still only slept for 9 hours... I need to start doing things to increase my endorphin levels and distract me from my emotional baggage, or I'm going to end up properly suicidal.

Exercise: I need to lose the baby weight. Having my body this way is a constant reminder, and I need to get rid of it. Now that the weather is warming up again, I can move without pain, so I'm thinking twice a week thrift store shopping on foot. One day I'll do the two north of me, then the second day I'll do the two south. North is a longer circuit but flatter ground, south is close by but the terrain is murder, including two huge sets of stairs at the railway crossing and a steep hill climb on the way home. I can also go via the park with a mini gym set-up.

Work: I need to step up my efforts to find a job, and that starts with a set number of applications per week that I need to hold myself to. I haven't decided a number yet, we'll see how I go, and keep increasing it until I get something.

I also have to finish some commissions for browbands, wax melts and bath bombs, and work on my ebay and facebook stores. They're my only source of income right now, and I need to be committed to them!

Planner: I need to start setting aside time to use my planner. It's a huge motivator, and I need to get back into using it!

Cleaning: I don't clean much when I'm severely depressed. Our bedroom looks like a bomb hit it. Usually hubby puts the wind up me, and we get into cleaning it together, but he's been in a funk as well, and we're living like hoarders because I haven't put anything away in weeks (I did a day of folding last week, but that's been it for ages)

Willpower: I get online to do one thing, or while I have lunch, or breakfast, and before I know it the day is gone, and all I've done is watch youtube videos, or have filled my ebay watch list. I need to get online and do things, but not get distracted by things!

This week's goal: Work out a schedule, get started on my exercise regime, and set up my planner again.

Hugs for you stormness! This will be a great start. I have been out of a job, and I started slow with applications. I would pick places I thought I wanted to work. I did maybe 2-3. I did try a job I never thought I like. (Daycare) I actually live it.

We will help you get out of this funk. I am excited to get to know you:) I can not wait to see your thrift store finds:)

1. Unfortunately, I haven't worked out everyday like I planned. I've been busy catching up with friends before they move.
2. I've applied to 3 jobs and have continued to explore other college degrees.
3. I finished one book!
4. I attempted a new recipe. It wasn't my favorite and took much longer than it should have, but I'm trying!
5. So far I have four trash bags of items to donate.
6. I am reaching out to various alumni organizations to see if I can make new connections and find friends in my area.
7. This will be my first follow up post on the thread. :)

I have been meaning to join these for the last few rounds, so months!  We are doing a wellness challenge at work right now and I admit that I have not been doing too well.  Half the time I don't know which week we are on and what we should be doing until about half way through the next week.  Me and a coworker were a week behind for some reason.

What are you goals to reach in 3 months?(you can choose how many goals you want)
1. Drink 64 oz of water every day
2. Get an activity in at least 5 days a week-walk, bike ride
3. At least 2500 steps if not more
4. Track my meals on my Fitbit app
5. Do my PT exercises twice a day for the first set, and once every hour for the 2nd set
6. Do one productive activity (need to make a list) each week if not more

These are quite a few and I don't know if I will succeed but these are things that I have had in the back of my mind but not really achieving them.  Hopefully, this holds me accountable.

Another goal would be to start reading again.  Ever since I graduated from nursing school, I have not been reading as often or I stop in the middle of the book.  I did that with at least 2 books now, one was Gone with the Wind (love the movie and want to know what happens in the unofficial sequel Scarlett) and a paranormal series of shape shifting demons.

Nessa16, good luck with the adjustments. Like all things getting healthy you need to figure out what works and adjust.

Knitting, spot on for me. I have projects to finish. I need to finish the Month of June for my temp blanket. After my needles broke and life, it took a huge back burner. I have a pair of leg warmers to finish. 1 is almost done...i put a countdown on my phone. I am challenging myself to finish half the leg warmer and June before September 1st:)

I could have ate better today, but I will be hopping on the tred mill for 10min. Gotra start slow...oh wait we haven't started yet.

I know we haven't started yet, but I am working on my goals. Sigh. So I have had so much junk food the last 2 days...like 3 cookies (medium) and 2 candy bars a day!!! Yeah not a good habit:p I knitted yesterday. I am working on a plush toy...i think the pattern is more complicated than it needs to be. I am still bleeding after my surgery:( I am not sure as I am cramping too...doctors are not sure what to do next.

Thank you! I really appreciate the support.  I hope your body kick starts the healing process and you get well soon. I think it's normal to eat sugary things when you're feeling under the weather I wouldn't worry about it at the moment!

Other people are working towards things that I would like to do as well. It's very inspiring to see everyone working toward their goals. I've been keeping things simple and managed to cut down smoking.  No running yet.  I got back together with my boyfriend. Things are much better and will hopefully stay good.  I have my driving test tomorrow  :lookround: Fingers crossed!

Okay, I know we haven't started yet, but I really needed to kick my butt into gear pronto, so I started unofficially, giving myself a score in my planner each week. I score on Sunday at the moment, so I haven't actually done it yet, but I've done really well for my first week. I didn't finish everything, but I had a lot of extra stuff thrown at me this week, and I got all of that done, plus most of my goals.  I did accomplish my three major weekly goals, so I'm counting this week as a win. I'm super proud of myself, and while there's definitely still a long way to go (this week wore me out so much!) it's at the very least a start. I feel so much better than the last time I was here!
