My cold + blocked ears seem to have eased-off a lot - I spent today actually ENJOYING myself + painted some Christmas baubles with acrylics and glitter - much fun! And a mini spa-day for a couple of ponies AND a repaint of some faded MoonDancer symbols  Got my hospital checkup on Monday afternoon, I guess I will resume gym on Tuesday morning, just to give me a few extra days to fully get well. Am still sticking to my daily calorie budget, albeit without treats due to not yet being able to burn the extra calories at the gym yet, hehe.

I want to cry...so I needed 6 adult coats and 2 baby coats and 1 g4 coat. And hats to match them all. I have I am down by one hat and one coat...I thought I had it all counted. I have been knitting mad since 8:00am ! Sigh. Maybe done on wed. Here is some knit picks for fun. This two shop thing sucks life and time out of me. Looks like by January out finances will be on the ok level and not have to work so much. Whew.

Those are very cute outfits Crowning Glory. I’ve been really bad at posting. I had a healthy day so far even though I’m not feeling well. I ate grilled chicken tenders at lunch and didn’t add any gravy or sauce. I also walked a lot today.

I know, right? The month is half gone, and I haven't posted much at all, but I've been super busy.

I've been working heaps, and my job has become so much easier since I took some colleagues advice and tweaked my schedule, which I'm totally allowed to do, so long as the residents and other staff member's schedules aren't impacted. My schedules now for both days and nights are streamlined and they work amazingly. I'm so much less stressed trying to follow some unrealistic schedule and triggering my anxiety every day. So my mental health is actually pretty good for once, which is great!

The one downside to that is that now I'm not running around like a madman, I'm not working so hard physically, so I have to make up the exercise on days off. That said, I usually have to run errands anyway, like today sometime I have to go to the PO and mail my nephew's birthday present, so I'll walk over there, which is like a 5000 step round trip. So I'm getting there exercise wise, but it's the eating well thing I'm REALLY having trouble with - it's been a while since I had to pack a lunch, and the options for healthy packed lunches are not as abundant as I remember! You used to be able to buy things that were pretty natural and pre-portioned, but nowadays it's all added sugar! I have to get a better lunch box so that I can take leftovers of the things I make. I'm making do with a little one at the moment, so I'm having to take smaller things, and then I get home and eat again because I'm still hungry - and let's face it, when you're hungry, any old rubbish will do! (and believe me, it's been rubbish!)

But I went shopping this morning and got some better things, like dried fruit that I can portion out to fit in my current lunchbox (can't wait til the back to school sales start in a couple of months to get a new one!) and some muesli, etc as well. So I'm trying, but I can feel the old habits creeping in, and it worries me a little. Not doing well on that front at all!

Stormness_1 - good to hear that the new job has adjusted well to your lifestyle! Pop a yoghurt in your lunchbox to give you a protein hit and help keep you feel fuller for longer

Me: back at the gym 10am in the morning - first time in weeks - wonder if my muscles will complain afterwards? Then afterwards - off to the post office to pay customs fees (boo!) and then get a very special bit of ponymail! A grail! Will reveal more later!

Finally got a moment. I started this morning with some gusto. Got working on my husbands hat. Still always to go. I am running out of yarn. Sadly the yarn was purchased at a store that went out of business in Florida...and yet to find anything like it. Sigh. Need to finish it by Thursday. Then I can get to all the prizes done.

Oh ponyfan, way back in my photo contest days you wanted me to pass your prize to someone in a RAOPK. Just so you know that is shipping out Monday...I had a few things to ship so I wanted it all together:)

We are trying to make it to page 25. First to post will get a prize.

Challenge for November. This might take a bit. You need to comment on the progress of others. It does not need to be each member. Just comments to each other about progress. I hope to ship out in January. I know what I want to send and I have them ready, they are small but I need to save before I can ship.

Thank you all for this journey. It has been filled with ups and downs, but I made it with you and I thank you all. We will come to the end November 30 th but the friendships we built and support I have been given will be in my heart forever. Thank you.

I sat my butt down and kicked it in gear today - I got 3 new listings put up in the store. Pics aren't as great as I'd like, but it's something and stuff is listed at least.

Meanwhile, I've been watching my Desert Bus silent auction today - it beat last year's craft item in the first half hour!

I have a day off can you tell..hahaha:) the 7 day soup diet worked. I know I did not lose alot like in the past, as me and hubby cheated. It did get my mind back into not having so much junk food and smaller portions. I don't have a scale but my thighs dont rub so much:) piano...is only done for lessons. I might get more in as I prep for a recital, Dec 9. Knitting is rocking as my projects are making me do so. I now have 4 students and 1 soon to start!!! This will help. That way after the holidays I will reach out for more students. I only have 3 days with the daycare this week....i so need a break from them. One toddler saw me at my second job and wanted a hug...yes those little turds melt my hearts:) hahaha. My life goal is to have my main income be knitting/crafts and music lessons and only need a part time job....now I gave not been recording the best, my materials and sales but I updated the best I could due to not having kept in my recording...but I am up to .096 an hour pay rate..haha in a 10 month span. So I have a bit to go. I am sure it's a bit better as I took terrible records...but that will be a task for another round of healthy pony:)

Again, I have been bad at posting. My motivation is still off. I seem to be in a slump at least with making a conscious descion to make healthier choices. I do appreciate all the support and hope there’ll be more rounds of Healthy Pony. I also excercise when I can.

Stormness 1 I’m happy to hear that you’re new job is going well. I struggle with eating well on the job too because I have limited time to eat and don’t have a lot of extra time to fix lunch so I eat a lot of microwaveable food. I know that isn’t super healthy.

Glitterball how did your workout go? I’m excited to see hear about your new pony.

Thanks for the update Crowing Glory. I hope it makes them smile.   I hope you have enough yarn to finish the hat. It’s always annoying when you find a great product and then it’s discontinued. Congrats on the piano students and completing the soup diet.

Kiwi that Desert Bus winning bid is awesome!  I don't think anything I've ever auctioned off for charity made that much.

Nanowrimo has basically eaten me this month.  I've still been trying to finish up some projects.  I haven't gotten as far as I would have liked but I have made some progress.  I have been bad at remembering to walk on the treadmill but I have been good about watching my calories so I think I'm breaking even there.  I popped my knee really bad on Friday so I've been trying to take it easy.  My knee doesn't hurt but I managed to pull my hamstring so that hurts.  If it isn't one thing, it's another.   

It's good to see everyone's progress.  It makes me want to do better.  So maybe the next round I'll get my act together a bit more.
