The last task is my bottleneck again, I don't have 500 gems to buy an extra pony. Maybe it will cost me a 100 gems if I skip but I am not sure if I am into that.

Especially since the drops are not even guaranteed, you could skip all your gems away and still not reach the goal.

Very frustrating.

Although I do appreciate how much easier they’ve made it to actually earn gems.
I have never had to spend any money and still gotten plenty out of this game over the years.

But it would be nice to at least be close to finishing an event quest sometime

As predicted no Blaze but I did get the 20 gems community prize. And I noticed a new gift code INLOVE for 20 gems. Right after the event closed a new event started. Curious how this will end.

Got Blaze, used about 80 gems to skip ahead. Worth it.

Fell asleep, missed shop prize by only a few spots. Curses!!

And I too am surprised the new event started so quick after the other one!  Looks like this one ends in a battle. Bets on that you will need those big gem ponies to win the “Limited Time” prizes. I just hope I can win Mistmane.

I leveled up in the middle of the Feather Bangs event and scored a TON of gems in my piggy bank!  There is a cap of 150 in there so if you're getting close it's worth thinking about buying it to make sure you don't lose out on any gems past your cap.

I missed blaze. saw it only had a day left and knew i had no chance. I finally did get the curio shop though yah for 70% off.

I, too, missed Blaze, but I did get the event before that. Hoping to get this event as well. is it just me or did they increase the droprate of the gems?
I also wish they'd kept the balloons... I liked that extra bit of gem income. :V

I liked getting gems from the heart balloons too.

After freeing Mistmanes daddy, level him up to 3 stars, and then wait. Currently my game says 1 day 17 hours so till Sunday Feb 18 EST.

You need Teaship Pony and the Imperial Colt, along with Mistmanes Daddy, to get 25 ‘divination sticks’ to win Sables Throne.

Gonna take me a few days, I only have Mistmanes Daddy. Oh well!

I'm feeling sorry for myself. I lost the Clear the Skies event by 2 spots  I have been spending gems all day to get extra lightening bolts to get a high enough score to win the pony. I was in 60th place with an hour to go. Checked in and there happened to be 2 min left and I was bumped to 111th place. Played a round, got to 102nd place, bought more bolts to play again and had 30 seconds left. I wasn't thinking that the round is min 45 seconds so I bought those bolts for nothing. And super sad I wasted like 80 gems in the last 2 days getting extra bolts to play more. Soooo close

Don't spend Gems on imperial colt you guys.  Even if you finish the task to get the throne you have a wait time of several days right after.  You have plenty of time to get the sticks.

Whoops! I had enough gems for a change so I splurged on imperial colt! Let's hope he'll be useful later!
