I'm not gonna get Tempest. Hopefully Gameloft will do her separate I don't mind spending money on Gems as I always get £25 iTunes gift card.

I finally got a reply from GL about getting the wrong prize in the first community event. Because I do not have a screenshot showing where I ranked, they are not going to give me the candle shop.

This is the third time I have delt with GL customer service, 2 of those times I got basically told ‘too bad, we cannot help you’. So annoying.

Time limit on Tempest has expired looks like I'll have to wait for her to be out in the shop.

my game still has  6 hrs left  and I have spent 95 gems so far , to be on the right times with the blows needed to finish
i have 3 blows left and   i have 4 minutes to spare  within the end of the limited time, i have set alarms LOL
hopefully I do not mess up and miss my chance to get her, because I only have 30 gems that i could use in case i don't do it on time 
28 left /400   so 1 last blow is just for 4 .oh well.
my community rank is now at 416  , 84 more to go down to be on the bracket for the 40 gems  2 days 17 hrs left.

WHAT?  I won Songbird and then she disappeared, and when I asked GL to please re-send her they did right away!  That's crazy!  They asked me what day I thought I won her, checked their system info, and said clearly yes I had won her and here's gems for the inconvenience!  I'd keep on them.

Anyone else notice the INSANE gem prices on the new Yaks for the ‘Whats Hot’ collection.

This is now the MOST greedy I have seen GL get. Daybreacker and NMM for 1000 gems each was ridiculous. But the Yaks at  1000, 1500, andy 2000 gems EACH?  Seriously!?!?

And no I will not be able to get those yaks, they should provide more free gems then.

For additional context, paying $100 will get you, at most, three of those yaks, which are purely digital, useless game constructs that you will forget about soon after getting because you have so many other ponies in there already. And you can only get three because gems are on sale right now.

The number of actual pony toys you could get for that same amount, of course, is far higher.

I got Tempest , I stayed on top of it , and I did not have to spend anymore of my gems

after getting Tempest and the other pony ,both of them completed  collections , so I got 30 gems for each group completed
I'm now on rank 501 for the community event, 1 day and 14 hrs left on it
looking forward for those gems, I bought a pony and played a couple of the pop balloon since it was at 10 gems for each .
I bought the Big Haired Bowler pony

Holy Celestia I did it! At 4:30AM with one hour to spare, I beat the Ursa and got Tempest! I had NO booster ponies, and only spent 5 or so gems, all of which I got back from clearing changelings/parasprites/fruit bats.

  I DID IT!!!
