... update gameloft doesn't care ... surprise surprise ... they tell me my only option is to uninstall the app and reinstall the app and send them my new code and my old code and they MIGHT do something ... maybe ......... and yes, its still freezing up tonight ... and yes it IS the end of the event freezing it up because i can spam click on the screen and bring up a pony and scroll through ponies and play games to raise their stars and bring up the quests and do stuff with those etc etc but when i click out if those and it tries to do the end of event pony chat it locks up ...

I was getting such a terrible drop rate on the visit plans I really didn't think I'd get all 30, but I got Firelight by the skin of my teeth. I won Thunderlane from the ball bounce game too!

Oh no, I'm so sorry kamakazee82! That really stinks. My game was having some trouble booting up this morning, but I think it's because I last logged in at a different zone, it teleported me back to Ponyville for the end-of-event cutscene. Could you try logging in in airplane mode, then going to Ponyville and turning the wifi back on? Just a thought.

I didn't get firelight, I missed a lot and too much to skip with gems.

nothing i did helped, wi-fi off, airplane mode on, restart device, clear cache, etc etc i guess there was such an uproar of so many people affected by it they finally realized it was something on their side and they got it fixed ... but there are a LOT of players who restarted and several that are still affected by it even after the update they did ... still missed a day and a half of playing, got screwed out of a LOT of places on the group ranking for the event and missed the daily gift ... :\ but at least they realized there was an issue instead of abandoning the players like they have with a bunch of their other games ...

There’s a new limited time only quest featuring The Crystal Empire starting soon. My game updated but I don’t have the new quest yet.

I was also affected by the crashing problem. It resulted in me missing one of the free pony daily rewards. GL Cust Service pretty much told me there was nothing they could do because their records indicated I never logged in that day. Well DUH because I would start the game, it would load, and then crash!  Sigh.

Sigh. Been a rough game week for me. I only play 2 games on my phone and both were messed up and both cust service groups basically told ne since Im a free player Im worthless.

I’m sorry to hear that Ponytails.  It shouldn’t matter whether you are a free or paying player.  Gameloft’s customer service isn’t very good at times. I’ve had trouble with them understanding what the problem was with my game so it could be fixed.

I am playing that new event. After a few short quests and king sombra you get to fight minions.  I am almost done fighting 50 of them. You don't need to stay in that process all time.
I also noticed that my full piggy bank contains 90 gems instead of 150. So where did the rest go or is it a cheap ass action to make you pay for them.

Barnacle_Lady, GL dropped the bank cap from 150 to 90 so if you had more than 90 in there, congrats, you just lost them.  /s

I'm reall  at that I'll complain on their Instagram page, to fix this. I'll threaten them by boycotting their games I have downloaded.

My piggy bank had 150 gems but I didn’t have enough  Google Play money to buy them.   I’m trying to build my Young Sombra’s power up enough to fight Celestia. Is this event based on a comic story?

If they didn't squeeze me out with the gems it will be with that boss fight of Celestia. I need 22 power but only got 8. And if I want more the cheapest option is buying this 500 gem pony. And I am at least 30 short. Saving up gems and play the mini games.

I am also stuck on the boss fight with Celestia. Basically unless you have TONS of gems saved up, you either wait to collect enough crystals for a few days or pay to continue.. I feel as if this ruins the fun.
The other day my progress reset! I had to contact them so I could get my hard earned ponies back. I REALLY want to get Princess Amore, in my opinion she is the most beautiful princess! I wish this story arc would appear in the show, Sombra is also my favorite villain!

I don’t have enough gems for the helper ponies so I’m stuck gathering crystals for a while. I was excited about the new automatic boss fights but having to wait to gather crystals to power up enough to beat Celestia does take away some of the fun.
