Hi all 
THank you to everyone who rehomed ponies this last few weeks. All pony orders that have been paid for have been shipped and people should have tracking numbers (if you don't, let me know, I will provide them!)
I will be heading back to London shortly and so am closing this thread for the time being. Having navigated their way to these shores over the past year and a bit, these ponies have finally got clearance to move on with their lives in order to find their forever homes. They are all tired and travel weary, fed up with being prodded and examined by custom officials who ask them if they have packed their own hay, and so would like to settle down somewhere with a pony herd. Large or small, these ponies are looking for someone to adopt them and give them the love they deserve.
Important Information: Please read first:All ponies have been washed in soap and water and hair cleaned in diluted shampoo.
The So Softs have been washed in antibacterial shampoo because of the nature of their condition on arrival.
Nothing stronger has been used on them. No stain removers, acne creams, fabric softener, or anything along those lines has been applied.
Ponypeople use a lot of weird terms for different flaws in ponies and I understand none of them, so have described them to the best of my ability.
I have done my best to photograph and/or reference all flaws. I am human and I can miss things.
Please feel free to ask additional questions and for extra images. I am more than happy to oblige with these.
I am only home for a short period of time.
All transactions must be completed
by 15th August when the thread will go on hiatus until the next time I am home. This is the last postage date, not the last payment date, and any pony transactions not completed before this date will be considered null and void. No ponies will be kept on hold beyond 15th August.
Payment is via paypal. UK residents can ask for a price in £ but please specify which pony you are interested in. European residents in the Eurozone and otherwise, please pay in £ or $. I will accept either. I am reluctant to accept amounts less than $10 due to paypal fees.
Prices are negotiable and reasonable combined offers for several ponies will be considered.
Postage will be calculated with the Royal Mail site. Combined postage is ok where possible. All parcels with a total value of over $50 necessitate tracking. In the UK, postage is £3.95 second class and £4.45 first class including signed for delivery. This is a flat rate for one pony up to about seven or eight, depending on weight. All other destinations will require a specific quote depending on the size of parcel. Royal Mail is the only postage option available for items going outside of the UK - I do not use courier services.
I ship worldwide with pleasure.
Custom duties suck, but the law requires me to put actual value on custom forms. UK postal regulations do not require custom forms for EU countries (at present) and there are no custom fees within the EU.
Custom charges may apply to anyone buying from beyond the European single market area. Buyers are responsible for all such charges.

loginName: Spangling Secret (US: Pretty Puff)
Summary:
-Body: In good condition, still nice and white. There are some marks above her tail, by the hinge for the cape. These may come off - I haven't tried. There are also a couple of other light marks but nothing extreme. Her eyes are good and there is no ink on the hooves. She has her original cape, which is in good condition although there are a few paint chips on the edges visible in the photos. The mechanism for the cape works perfectly but she is missing her key (I tested her with one of my keys). The inside of her compartment is clean and the hinge opens well.
-Hair: Very nice, uncut I think - the ends of the mane are a little uneven but this is also true of my own personal collection pony who I have had from childhood so I think it is the way they were made. Silky for the most part, mane showing just the first signs of messiness which could lead to something else.
-Symbol: N/A
-Other Remarks: Overall in really nice shape with minor playwear and still in possession of her hard to find and delicate cape.

Summary:
-Body: Clean and bright, nice vivid pink colour with no major marks and the lightest of playwear. Some glitter residue which has transferred from her symbol onto her NDS but it looks rather pretty really. Wing fixings have no tabs in place, they are present and clean and undamaged.
-Hair: A bit wild and needs proper styling but appears uncut. Not as silky as it could be but far from frizzy. Nice and white, perhaps a touch dry.
-Symbol: Beautifully glittery still, both on flanks and on her cheek.
-Other Remarks: No wings. This is her chief flaw. Otherwise she is a pretty nice example of this pony.

Summary:
-Body: Pretty good. There are some small stray marks and her front hooves seem to be still a little dirty although I did give her a thorough bath. I have tried to illustrate the marks in the photos. She has a factory flaw to one eye, the paint is a bit blobby.
-Hair: The lavender element is gorgeous, long and uncut. Her tinsel is a bit insane, which is not uncommon for these ponies. It gives her a rather scatty look
-Symbol: Has survived pretty well. Some tarnishing to the metallic finish in places.
-Other Remarks: Made in China.

-Body Mostly still white. Cosmos has one faded blue mark on one side of her body which is visible in the pictures. She has some light wear in general to her body and her hoof has ink on the base.

Summary:
-Body: Generally okay, she has a few marks which I have tried to capture in the photographs. In particular two dashes on her rear DS leg, a dash on her NDS haunch and a couple of other small marks on the foot and around the face/hairline and neck.
-Hair: It needs work. I looked at trying to do something with it but ultimately gave up because it needs to be brushed out and re-set and there seems little point in doing that then shipping her off to a new home. Her mane ringlets are very loose and the hair feels quite dry, especially rough at the ends. Her tail is a tangle but it is all uncut.
-Symbol: Good, minor playwear.

Summary:
-Body: Pretty good, just the most minor and faint signs of wear. She displays very charmingly. There are a couple of pink specks below one eye which were hard to pick up in photos and are quite small but there. I was able to reduce these just with soap washing so I suspect they may come off but cannot be sure. There are a couple of other tiny examples of this on her back between her symbols.
-Hair: Remarkably good for a Sunshine Pony! The colour-change sections are rougher than the blue sections and this is especially true in her tail, but she has some original curl left to her mane which means she displays very nicely. The colour change streaks for Seaflower are originally pale pink rather than white and Seaflower's have not faded. Because of this I have not tested if they still change (that and the distinct lack of British sun lately!) Her hair is uncut. It is not mint out of the package hair, with some flyaway bits and signs of play, but it is pretty good considering this set.
-Symbol: Nice and bold, only minor wear.

Summary:
-Body: Not quite as nice as her set sister above, but generally all right. Some slight plastic wear to her ear. Mainsail has some light wear and tear to her body, and some faded marks that I have tried to pick up in the pictures. There are a couple of dark marks on her legs, beyond that there is nothing glaringly wrong with her body.
-Hair: The white sections still change colour, and they are as is normal with these ponies, quite rough, especially at the ends. Despite this she displays quite nicely and a dedicated new owner can probably do more with her mane than I have managed to. There are no cuts to her hair and the yellow sections are in good condition. There are signs of tail rust at the top of her tail which I have not tackled but a new owner might be able to.
-Symbol: Generally good, light signs of wear in places.

Summary:
-Body: Generally good, with no extreme marks or damage. She has a blue mark that looks like paint on one of her legs which I have photographed. Unsure if it will come off. Otherwise just light playwear that I can see.
-Hair: Uncut and still quite soft, though not really curly any more. Her tail is a bit rougher than her mane but wavy and displays well.
-Symbol: Good.
-Other Remarks: Tap Dancer can still dance - her mechanism is fully functional with no missing parts.

Summary:
-Body: I don't think I have ever seen a loose Masquerade in this good a state. Her body shows minimal flaws and no staining that I can see.
-Hair: Good. Silky and uncut.
-Symbol: Good.
-Other Remarks: Masquerade's eyes have lost some of the pearly sheen but are in pretty good condition.

Summary:
-Body: Great condition overall, still very white. She has a couple of very faded pinkish marks which are visible although from a distance are somewhat masked by her symbol. One is on her side and the other around her face. Otherwise she shows light playwear but nothing extreme.
-Hair: Hair is silky and uncut, though ends getting a little less silky than they may have once been. The tinsel in the front of her mane is a bit rough and shows it has been played with, though it is still present. The streamers in her tail have also been stretched out of shape although they show some of their original curl and it may be possible to restore them to better than they are now. The metallic edge on these also shows some wear.
-Symbol: Very bold and pretty across her body on both sides.

Summary: Who needs Rapunzel when you can have Glittering Gem?
-Body: Generally good, some light playwear. There are a few small marks and scuffs, especially to the pearly sheen on the jewel on her brow which is otherwise present and undamaged.
-Hair: Gem's hair mechanism works just fine. Her mane and tail are long and uncut. Her mane is a bit wild and could use some nicer styling, the tinsel in it is present but shows play wear. Her tail is beautiful and long and feels quite soft and silky. I have tested winding it in and pulling it out with no problems. There are no haircuts.
-Symbol: Good, minor wear.

Summary:
-Body: Largely good, she does have some marks which I think may be permanent. I have tried to photograph these as clearly as possible. She also has some chew marks to her horn which are nicely hidden by the spray of tinsel hair but which are present and worth noting.
-Hair: The pink hair is really lovely, wavy and soft. Her tinsel is, like all Princesses of this set, completely insane. The spray of tinsel at the front is actually in very nice condition and is not particularly straggly. The tinsel in her mane and tail is more worn but not horribly damaged and wrecked.
-Symbol: Misty's medallion shows some minor wear but in general is pretty good.
-Other Remarks: Misty rattles, but I have no idea why as nothing appears to be loose.

Summary:
-Body: Great condition, only minor wear. Still very good colour. One flaw is that she has some faint pink inside her nostrils. This is because her previous owner put pony nail polish in there, as you do. Otherwise nothing major to speak of.
-Hair: Great, silky and uncut. One stray bit at the bottom of the mane is too long and could use fixing.
-Symbol: Good.

Summary:
-Body: Good condition. Dancing Butterflies is clean and has no major blemishes but there is a small speck of misprinted paint from her symbol on her body. She shows only light playwear.
-Hair: Still curly and uncut though could probably use some neatening to style for display.
-Symbol: Good, some light wear.
-Backcard condition: Card has some significant damage to the front where the pony was originally removed from the card and also has has the horseshoe points removed. Back is fine. Card shows minor wear otherwise. This is the original card to this specific pony. This is the UK style card featuring the UK names, story and set name, "Party Ponies".

Summary:
-Body: I am not quite sure what is going on with Seawinkle here. Her head looks like it has been subjected to dye or some kind of ink but it is not overly pervasive, just gives the impression she has a darker tone under her chin and around her face. It's hard to explain and I've tried to photograph it. Seawinkle also has some marks and signs of wear. One such mark is on her brow.
-Hair: Good, fairly silky, uncut.
-Symbol: N/A

Summary:
-Body: Would be good if not for a couple of marks across both sets of her legs, shown in the photo. They look like ink but I do not know if they can be removed. She also has a weird factory flaw which means the plastic of her belly is not smooth but is sort of puckered. This was very hard to photograph but has clearly been this way since she was new in stores.
-Hair: Silky and uncut.
-Symbol: Good, light wear.

-Body: Generally good. Baby pony has some light play wear. One spot behind her wing.
-Hair: Is still pink, if maybe a little paler in the mane. Has original curl but it is a bit messy.

Ponies Needing LovePonies in this section have had a hard life in their previous homes and are now looking for somewhere less fussy to spend their future.
All ponies in this section have significant flaws which may or may not be fixable and are not suitable for picky collectors, or are more common ponies with less significant flaws that affect their general mint display. Or in some cases, both.

loginName: Ribbon (#1)
Summary:
Ribbon has issues. She is one of group of very abused So Soft Ponies which probably need more work to get them back to their best, and this is beyond my expertise.
-Body: Has rubs and staining to the fur in places which has been cleaned with antibacterial shampoo. Rubs particularly around the lips, ears, eye, hooves and muzzle. Flocking thin in places. Ink on the base of hooves. This is the first of two Ribbon ponies from this group. This Ribbon is capable of standing properly.
-Hair: Silky and uncut
-Symbol: Under the fur.
-Other Remarks: I believe Ribbon may be a good candidate for deflocking, though it is not certain whether the staining on her fur has affected the plastic.

Summary:
Buttons has issues. She is one of group of very abused So Soft Ponies which probably need more work to get them back to their best, and this is beyond my expertise.
-Body: Flocking is thin in places with a bad rub especially around the neck join. Areas of the fur are marked, which can be seen in the pictures. Ink on the base of hoof. Buttons has some issues standing properly.
-Hair: Has lost curl and is rough at the ends, I think it is heading towards frizzy but hasn't quite got there yet. It is uncut.
-Symbol: Under the fur.
-Other Remarks: Probably a good candidate for deflocking, if the staining on the fur has not damaged the plastic.

Summary:
Gusty has issues. She is one of group of very abused So Soft Ponies which probably need more work to get them back to their best, and this is beyond my expertise. Gusty may be a good candidate for sunfading though I can make no guarantees.
-Body: Staining on the fur. She is a huge amount better than when I first got her, but though she has been thoroughly cleaned and decontaminated with antibacterial shampoo, she still has a lot of marking on her fur. Her flocking is not bad in terms of thickness for the most part but the stains do show up and are visible in the picture. She has ink under her hoof. I do not know to what extent the marks are on the plastic or staining the fur. She has a really pretty face, though, despite her hardships.
-Hair: Silky and uncut. Her hair is really beautiful.
-Symbol: Under the fur.
-Other Remarks: I don't think Gusty is a great candidate for sunfading as it seems possible the marks affect the plastic also. Maybe a good candidate for careful sunfading.

Summary:
-Body: Firefly has the usual signs of a pony that saw plenty of play in the early 1980s. She is not abused but just shows general wear all over her body, leaving her less than pristine. Despite this she displays well for the non-fussy collector and she is clean with not much in the way of glaringly disfiguring blemishes. There is what appears to be pencil marks in her mouth which I have not been able to remove. Ink on one hoof base.
-Hair: Lovely. Her hair is uncut and feels nice.
-Symbol: The lightning bolts are still there and still glittery but rubbed in places so far from pristine. Cleaning around these was difficult so more attention probably needed here from her new owner.
-Other Remarks:

Summary:
-Body: Her body is in pretty good condition really, but she does show some signs of playwear and tear. I have tried to pick this up in the photos. Some scuffing over the eye and a small mark on her NDS front leg stand out.
-Hair: Her mane is lovely. Her tail has either had one section cut or is unevenly put into her body but I think the former. Despite this it looks quite presentable.
-Symbol: Good, general playwear and tear but still bold and bright.
-Other Remarks:

-Body: Where to start. I suspect she might benefit from some internal cleaning, as her yellow body seems a bit dull. There is faded pink highlighter on her belly and side and she shows some other signs of wear and play. Definitely a pony in need of restoration care.
