Those Kenner Grabbits are something else, the eyelashes and the teeth were a step too far in my opinion. While googling them I found another Kenner plush that would have horrified me as a child. Did anyone actually like Salacious Crumb? It's not even cute in an ugly way! In fact, any and all merchandise of this character just boggles my mind.

I have this huge 16" Strawberry Shortcake doll from Peru who has blinky eyes- and when you press her tummy she will sing a song in the truly most blood curdling voices you have ever heard- no joke.

I kinda love it, haha

Another creepy toy - actually, a character rather than a toy - who in the UK remembers the 90's BBC1 Noel's House Party and his creation, Mr Blobby? Creepy thing it was too. They even (briefly) had a Blobby theme park and merch... the fad soon faded.

I was at a boot sale one summer, looking innocently at a trader table; the guy was unloading his van (looked like he ran a house-clearance service) anyway, I was looking for nothing in particular until my eyes rested upon a large, bright pink sculpture. I was trying to work out what it was, what with all the appendages... until it finally dawned on me that it was not just a piece of sculpture... 

I backed away as fast as I could. (It was HUGE) 
I hoped no-one saw me, but there were so many people around, oh the embarrassment! 
(at least I did not actually touch it *shudder* )
