I'm sorry to hear the decals don't work. They're so cute.  I just painted my nails with Let Your Twilight Sparkle. Sometimes my polish seemed too thin when I got it out of the bottle and sometimes it was so thick I could hardly move it with the brush. This is my first time using China Glaze.

Wow what an awesome idea.  I would love to try some of those.  I don't think we have a Sally beauty store, at least not nearby.  There's an ulta but I think it's too far away.  I wonder if CVS would carry anything like that since they sell nail polish.

Majesty do you have a JC Penny's with a Sephora inside? I think the MLP nail polish is also available there. :)

I checked Walgreens today, they don't have them.  I haven't had a chance to get to JCP or Sally Beauty to check them out.

Is anyone else having trouble with the MLP polish not lasting or chipping?

Are you using a base coat and/or a top coat? I used Gelous for a base coat and Out The Door for a top coat. I painted my nails on Friday and as of Tuesday night, they still look perfect.

I'm not using a base coat but I am using China Glaze Fast Forward top coat for the top coat. I thought I put the polish on too thick yesterday so I took off and had two coats of MLP polish and a top coat of Fast Forward. After a couple of hours the top coat weakened and started  to flake off in large pieces taking the nail color underneath with it,  Maybe I'm using the wrong type of top coat?

Weird! I've never used that top coat before so I can't say for sure if that's the issue. I've used China Glaze polishes for several years now without any problem though. I actually own around 50 bottles. lol  I guess I'd try using a basecoat and a different brand of top coat next time to see if that makes any difference. Humidity might also be a factor.

I love some of the MLP colors so much. I was sad when it started chipping off so easily. I will keep trying. :) This is the first time I've used that top coat also.

I finally found a double display of the MLP polish at JCPenny's. It was upstairs in the Children's section. I would have never thought to look there. I picked up 3 more bottle today.

For those suggesting Sephora, they do not carry China Glaze(neither does CVS but Walgreens does).   If you can't buy the polishes in person, Sally Beauty does sell online.  NailPolishCanada is another place that carries them.

For the polish issues...(for reference, nails are a hobby of mine.  I am a polish maker)  It may be the top coat doesn't work for your body chemistry.  It happens some times.  Or your nails may have a lot of natural oils. Try wiping nails with alchohol before applying polish if you're not already doing it.   Some folks need to use a "sticky" type of basecoat to keep their nail polish on for more than a day.  Apply polish so each coat isn't thick.
Some other top coats that are great: Seche Vite, Out the Door, even NYC's Grand Central does a good job.

Thanks FiddlePhan  I didn't know Sephora didn't carry China Glaze. I'm usually not a nail polish person but I love most of the MLP colors.

The MLP nail polishes are featured in the new Ulta catalog. I picked up 3 more colors today. They also have the two polishes that were in the Songbird set available separately now.
