I think the G3 So Softs (the big plush babies with the plastic heads, right?) were pretty cool.  I'd often see a kid toting one around.

I don't know which were sold in Europe though, sorry.

They were definitely sold in the UK, I have seen them at boot sales here. But I don't know about the continent.

Yes they were sold on the mainland too. I see them also a lot on fleamarkets. And I also spotted fakies of them.

I don't know much about the G3 distribution outside the USA, but the G3 So Softs did have a few store exclusives.  It's been years since these came out, but I was buying at the time, and I did have to hit certain stores to get some of them.  If you're wondering if every single So Soft the USA got was also available in Europe, the store exclusive ones would be the most likely to be USA exclusive.  I'm positive Walmart got at least one exclusive, possibly more.  As for the regular releases, Europe may or may not have gotten all of them.  Your best bet would probably be to check European inserts if you can find them.  The So Softs were often listed in the brochures.

Edit to add:

Strawberry Reef has them all listed.  There were multiple exclusives - including a Target one.  Odds are that one didn't make it out of the USA at the very least.

Well from what i've saw on french ebay and on french second hand websites it seems you're right, i saw all of them sold at least once except for 4 of them , and all the store exclusive ones were in those four. There's still one that isn't exclusive to any store that i haven't seen sold anywhere in my country (Tripsy Daisy) but i recently saw another so soft i had never saw sold here before, so maybe she'll pop up on ebay or the other sites i use.
It would be nice to check on european inserts but i don't have any and i don't really know where to find them.
Anyway thank you for the help.

I have a ton of G3 inserts, but most of them are from the USA since that's where I've been buying ponies.  But I do have a friend who might have all the European ones.  I'll send her the link to this thread.  I don't think she collects the G3 So Softs, but she certainly collects brochures.  I can't guarantee that she'll be able to help you.  Her G3 brochures might be in a bad spot to get to, she might not have all the G3 brochures, or the one pony you're looking for might not have been listed, but I'll point her in this direction.

FYI - I've been debating on whether or not to sell off my So Soft collection(everything was bought new and never played with).  I can keep you in mind if I ever decide to do it.  Shipping would probably be horrific though:/

Australia DID get some of the Walmart exclusives though, so there's hope that they might have been available in some parts of Europe. I have had carriers go through my hands several times, and the ponies that came with them as Walmart exclusives. I don't think the ponies themselves were Walmart exclusive, just the sets with the carriers, but having those here definitely points to them only being exclusive to that one store in the US, and distributed freely anywhere else they were sold.

Europe did have all of them that weren't exclusive, I do remember them in here at least :)

Thank you guys, that means the only hard ones to get for me will be the store exclusive ones.

Also goddessofpeep, thank you for your proposition but i don't think it will be possible,  my parents are iffy about buying things outside the country

True, I didn't see any of the exclusives over here. The hardest to find on fleamarkets are those bath ponies soakey dokey and soapy smiles.

ETA: I checked them in my euro inserts and didn't spot an exclusive.
