I just ordered a whole case (16 pieces). Cross your hooves I get at least 1 of each of the more common ones. I would love some of the rarer ones.

Once I receive the case I will be selling the duplicates here for cost plus shipping so if you want one at a good price let me know.

I will document the order and the opening to see if there is some pattern or something. Should I start a new thread when I get them and the unboxing or post it here?

I went ahead and ordered a whole box, but from the company I ordered from it was pre-order so meh, sometimes it depends on how many they ordered if they can fill all shipments I'm pretty sure.

But it says July so I suppose they may be getting them in any time.

Either way, I wonder how many doubles are in the box? I will probably have extras to sell if/when I get the full box so anyone looking for them just let me know. I am only looking to keep one of each but I have no clue how many are different in the set, etc. other than knowing the whole box has 16 individuals inside.

The box I found at Booksamillion was brand new, I took five and ended up getting two sets of doubles.  I had even tried pulling from different spots in the box.  If Glory, Firefly, Minty, Sparkle, Apple Jack and Sundance all have a 2 in 12 chance of being found, and the box has 16 ponies, you have a high chance of just getting a bunch of doubles.

Since so many people are getting doubles, I'm wondering if I should just buy doubles from someone here . . . But then again, I do like the fun of opening blind boxes, ha ha!

I went ahead and got a regular G4 blind bag because it was the last Nightmare Night in the box and I haven't seen them around anywhere before.  It didn't have a window to see in so really was blind, but I was sure I could feel the wide brim of a witch's hat in there so thought I might be getting Twilight Sparkle in the Starswirl costume.

It wasn't, instead it was some pony I don't recognize and it wasn't a fun costume just something lame.  It was a bonus pack with another blind bag from some other set taped to it for the same price, and that one also was some nopony and it has a terrible plastic smell.

I hate blind bags!  arg.  only on topic as to blind bags and boxes themselves.  No likey, no fun (for me).  If I buy any of these G1 retros I will definitely seek out doubles from a member.

That sounds really discouraging right off the bat like that.

I got lucky and scored 10 from a box of 12...naturally the chase was gone and i got 4 common doubles. Im half tempted to just customize them.
