What manga are you reading?

I was torn between reading Yona 26 before I got 27 or waiting until 27 was released but I read 26 today. 

I wish Diamond no Ace was still published in English in physical copies.  The digital version is up to vol 29 of Act 1 but I prefer reading physical copies of manga.

I’m behind on Takane and Hana.  Volume 16 will be published in Jan but I still need to read vols 10-15.

I read Takane and Hana 10-13 since my last post. 

My pile of "to be read" mangas is getting smaller.  I have vols 1-6 of Komi Can't Communicate but haven't read them yet.

Yona vol 27 was released in the US today.    The local bookstore doesn’t have it in stock yet though.

Still waiting for the bookstore to get their Viz shipment so I can get the next volume of Yona.  I even checked another bookstore yesterday that isn't as good as the one I usually go to because sometimes they also have the latest volumes in stock but they didn't have it either.

I didn't realize it had been so long since I posted in this thread.  I did get volume 27 of Yona along with Mermaid Saga 1 but haven't read either one yet.  Yona 28 will be released in Feb so I'll probably wait until I have 28 and read then read 27. I think the next volume of Mermaid Saga come out in February too.

I'm missing the latest volume of Takane and Hana.  My bookstore had it out before the release date and when I went back after that date the book had been sold.

Does anyone have any recommendations for manga series?  I am looking at starting a new series but I get overwhelmed  by all of the series at the bookstore.

I picked up Mermaid Saga volume 2 and Komi Can't Communicate vol 8 yesterday.

I just started reading a manga called An Incurable Case of Love. It's a cute romance and the humor sort of reminds me of Takane and Hana. It's a nurse/doctor romance story and I guess you'd call it slice of life as it's not fantasy in it, just regular folks, although the main guy got deemed the dark lord, which is really funny in story. But I've gotten through vol 1 and 2 and have just ordered 3 and 4 from amazon. Not sure how many vol in all, and not even sure if it's finished.

That's the only issue I ever have with manga series, it's hard to tell for sure if a series is ongoing or if it's finished? Some of them if you do a google search I can never find for sure info sometimes If they're over or if we get everything. I saw something about Takane and Hana is ending soon but I'm confused on which issue is the last and something about the last vol is going to be sold with some kinda color extra thing (sorry I can't remember exactly now what I read), but I'm sorta confused is the english version going to come with the extra or is that just in japan? Another series I watched first as an anime, I can't figure out if it's over or still ongoing. Kakuriyo bed and breakfast for spirits. I've got vol 1-4 of the manga, but I was confused when searching amazon if vol 6 is the end...

I haven't really looked in to it but I also think Takane and Hana will be ending soon. Viz used to release a new volume every 3 months or so (I noticed because the release day always matched Yona. ) but now it's down to one volume every 4 or 5 months.  Maybe they are waiting to see if the series will continue beyond vol 17?  The extra thing sound like something that will only be included in the Japanese version but Viz might surprise us.

It can get confusing though.  I saw some posts when a volume of Yona was released a while back where people were speculating that it was going to the ending arc. Thanks to Taffeta I knew this wasn't true because  she told me that volumes past that number had been issued in Japan.

I might check out An Incurable Case of Love.  I glanced at it once before and thought it was interesting but the bookstore was missing a volume.

I've just been checking up on release dates and discovered Daiya Act II 26 and Yona 35 are both due out this month, so I'll hold off on 25 and 34 from Amazon.jp until the end of the month. I don't like Ichidai Sankou players being on the cover of Daiya manga. I'm getting territorial. Having Nori on 25 is nice though.

The image on 34 of Yona is cute but I like the one on 35 better. <3

I really need to actually read the last couple of volumes I have of that though. I'm up to date with Daiya but not Yona.

I looked up the Yona covers and  I love the one with Yona and Ao and also 35.  


I haven't read Mermaid Saga or Takane and Hana vols 16 and 17 yet.   I need to get Yona 29.

I'm also looking at maybe starting a new series but I can't decide which one.      I have a few volumes of Komi Can't Communicate that I haven't read and have also been looking at A Tropical Fish Yearns for Snow.
