I finally have Komi Can't Communicate volume 2

Maybe I will start that series while I'm waiting for Yona 23 to be published.

I found out that Ace of Diamond and Fughi Yushi manga are still available digitally even though the books are aren't in print any more. I prefer hard copies of manga instead of digital ones though.

Daiya is only translated up to something like 24, which is not a good place to stop, and frankly ridiculous since there are well over 60 volumes now in Japan. The animation covers almost everything in the manga mind you.

Yuugi...have you tried amazon's second hand sellers? Albeit now might be a more difficult time to do that...

I am currently caught up on Beastars. I am working on getting caught up on The Promised Neverland. And Berserk is back on hiatus, so I am patiently waiting for that to update again.

I started reading Takane and Hana. I bought the books a few at time so when I got ready to read them I would have most ,if not all of the volumes that have been published.

Yesterday was a huge release day for Viz Media but with everything except essential businesses shut down due to coronavirus I doubt many people were able to get the new releases yesterday. There's also a delay with Amazon.com

I still need Yona 23 and Takane and Hana volume 14.

I’ve been reading manga that I bought and was saving until I had time to read them. I recently read Takane and Hana 1-5 and Sailor V 1 and 2. I like Takane and Hana so far but I was a little disappointed in Sailor V.

Sailor V tells the story of how Venus become the first Sailor Guardian and met Artemis. That part was pretty interesting but there didn’t seem to be much of a connection to the main plot of Sailor Moon until the end of Volume 2 and that seemed to be an more of an afterthought than being a well thought out plot twist at least to me.

Also the translation felt off in a few places although I expected that since there are errors in the older English Sailor Moon manga that was released before the Eternal Edition.

the Eternal edition retranslated things? :o Oh man, now I'm even more tempted to get those... I thought Kodansha's translation for the first releases felt a little stiff and awkward in places.

the thing about Sailor V is that it started before Sailor Moon, so originally there wasn't any other plot for it to connect to. I agree though, the parts where it started tying into SM did feel a bit shoehorned in (IIRC, it's been a while since I've re-read it... now I want to read them again XP)

The Eternal Edition is a new translation.

I don't own the Eternal editions either but I've heard many of the mistakes that happened in Kodansha's first releases have been corrected.

I'm not sure how many people here read Demon Slayer but the manga has officially come to an end in Japan. Also the English translation publication has been moved up to release one new volume a month.

Tuesday is a major release day for Viz Media including the next volume of Yona (Vol 24) and the next volume of Takane and Hana.

Re-read "Claudine...!" the other day

I do love that manga (even though the ending is soooo sad).

It does bug me that the cover shows Claudine with blue eyes, though, when they say on page 9 (or so) that their eyes are "a deep mahogany brown"! I hate it when illustrations do that :U

I'm not sure how accurate the info I found is since I don't follow Demon Slayer but it looks like there are 20 volumes published so far with Vol 21 being released next month. There are also some chapters that have been published but not combined in to a book yet.
