I was born in '96, so G2s did come out when I was small, but I was too young at that age to play with things like that. G3 would have been what I would have been into, but as a kid I was more interested in the toys my younger brother had, mostly Hot Wheels. I knew My Little Pony existed, but I just wasn't interested in them. I was quite the tomboy growing up. Because of that, I didn't get into My Little Pony until 2011, when I was in between Jr. High and High School.

Finally a topic about our childhood that i can reply to!
I never liked MLP as a child because for me it was always this stupid girly stuff that i didn't care for (that's funny actually since i kinda liked barbies),even though i knew it existed.It wasn't until i randomly caught a FiM episode on TV after a friend talked to me about it and the brony fandom that i began to like it.And then before i knew it my room was infested by ponies.

Yeah, I didn't have any MLPs as a kid. I did have a couple of Barbie horses though (being an avid animal lover right from word go, I wanted just the horses and not the Barbies haha). I wasn't into anything that I deemed too 'pink and girly'. And look at me now, where Pinkie Pie is my favourite pony
