I really like this set, although they didn't come to the UK and that makes me sad.

I have Sunsplasher loose and MOC. She and Sunbeam are the two MOC I have hanging on my wall in my room back home.

When I tell people I have almost completed my U.S. Pony collection, I forget to tell them I don't include sweetheart sister type ponies.  No need to get angry with me, it's simply just my opinion, but I don't believe they fit in my pony world.  So I don't collect them.  I've sent them back as donations again to thrift stores if they showed up in a lot, and I even admit to killing one once to collect its hair.

If we all collected the same thing it would be very boring. Good for you if thats your thing. Im sure someone else adopted them. I have a full set of BBE and they are still loved.

I just can't get behind the fact that they have (a streak of) blond hair.  Like, not just 'yellow' or 'gold', but actual blond.  I really don't like that at all.

I pass because it's something about the faces that scare me. To me she's basically a prototype of G2 ponies.

Yeah, that always seemed weird to me as well. But I still can't help loving them. I wish they had been sold over here. I know kids would've loved them with those bright colours.

Forgot to add pics of mine, and I never noticed that about the sun before, but he so does. It's a Haribo Tangfastic moment...

I really love her sunkissed look and I agree that her sun symbol is very funny. Something about the SHS just doesn't sit right with me, though. I think it's that compared to the mainline ponies, their poses seem very sterile and expressionless.
