I only bought her in the first place for my friend otherwise I'd never give her up! and yes my friend was very good to me and deserves a great condition rare pony, and more.  I was so happy to find one in such condition, and for a better-than-market price.  I'm only holding onto her for now to get more pictures! An excuse that has pretty much run out, too...

I've got both the Hong Kong and the China version of her. I didn't know that they were different for the longest time. I thought they were the exact same except one looked a little dingy. I love her.

I didn't know there WERE different versions :  O
What are the differences??

I got some nice pics of her with Philippe for a little pony story I haven't finished putting together yet, and the one I just took here pretty much constitutes "enough" so I am out of excuses, haha.

Of course, i COULD restyle her hair to the OP's straw curls before sending, haha but no.

Oooo, two versions?  Hm, this one is 87 Hong Kong.

I'd love to have her!!  One of my childhood best friends (who lived a couple houses away from me) had her, so I've seen and held her many times.  The only one from the set that I have is Boysenberry Pie, but I think it would be wonderful to have the whole set.

I didn't know either until last year. There are quite a few sets that have the two different versions. From what I can tell the only difference is that the China version looks dingy. But my Hong Kong version is from my childhood, so she isn't in the greatest shape. For quite a while I thought they were same pony, but one was dirtier than the other.

that's weird! do you mean dingy as in a duskier color? : O mines HK not china, and i didn't even realize. is one rarer than the other?

I am loving the photos everyone has posted.  Lot of cute going on in this thread. Those curls, wow. Blueberry Baskets looks amazing with curls. I may have to try curling my girl's hair.

shes so pretty and i am so glad i found her on the ground in a box of all sorts at a sunday morning market, love her so much and was on the sideline of wanting to buy her as im not a fan of that  pose but love the blue combo and cutie mark,  now so glad to have been given the chance to own her and have her in my collection

i agree. its my favorite pose but i had to tuck her hair behind her to take a picture, even though i leave it folded in front normally. taking the photo from below her helped get a whole shot.

My strategy of placing her in a plant worked pretty well but she's particularly difficult to shoot together with another pony.  Ah I gotta finish assembling my little picture story.

Don't have her, but really want her.  She's a really pretty pony, I like the balance of her two-toned colouring, and she's got such a sweet pose.  Will get her soon.
