Pokémon the movie 20 - I choose you!

I just found out that the 20'th Pokémon movie will be about Ash in the beginning of his Journey, but with a twist!

They're all in Japanese and I have no idea what they are saying.

But I'm a real sucker for Pokémon Kanto nostalgia, as I know a lot of you guys are too, and I'm really looking forward to this new take. I'm really hoping it will hit the big screens too. What lead me to the realization that the next mon movie could actually be worth seeing was this article of the new TCG cards of Bye Bye Butterfree and (presumably Ash's) Charizard http://comicbook.com/gaming/2017/06/01/pokemon-card-bye-bye-butterfree/

I'd like to hear your thoughts on the upcoming movie! Are you as pleasantly surprised as I am?

Have they ever explored Pikachu's origin?  Like, what its life was like before Professor Oak gave it to Ash?  I think that would be an interesting angle, given that it started out being such a little brat and hates being contained in a pokeball.  (Previously owned by an abusive trainer, maybe?)
