I'm in the UK and I avoid pony stuff if I have to use the GSP. I don't think collecting is as affordable as it was and this is a real shame.  I think the hobby is changing.  I'm a G1 collector and I suppose change is inevitable as time goes by. But if I needed to sell my collection I might find it harder since the market might be reduced in size by postage costs.  If Ebay ever remove other postage options I'll have to sell elsewhere on principle.

I just saw an ebay list for stickers and the seller asks 26 dollars for 6 stickers.

That is still beaten by a backcard with postage quoted as $50.25.

I think it's a sad irony that lazy people use GSP thinking they will get more business with less effort, but it actually put a lot of us off. Unfortunately I think in the US the market domestically is so big that probably there isn't a huge impact if international people ignore GSP auctions, which means that probably that trend won't disappear any time soon.

I've given up on buying from those that use GSP. It's ridiculously expensive for international buyers. Dealing with currency fluctuations is enough.
