Actually, I did mention in the Unpopular Pony Opinion thread that I thought they were alike too, and that I actually prefer Mainsail. But then again, I am a "poor man".

I have Nightglider, it's Mainsail I'm dying to get.

One of my childhood ponies! I still have her; she's the one that made this pose one of my favorites.

Have her MOC, but not loose.  This isn't my favourite set, but I will eventually get around to buying her.  Her nautical symbols are quite sweet though, although I'm surprised they didn't reserve the sailboat motif for a brother or daddy pony.

Gorgeous in real life, bought her half-heartedly on EB and was greatly impressed when I opened my ponymail 

re: poor man's NightGlider - you know, I was looking for a really-baity Mainsail to re-customize into a NightGlider - but just could not bring myself to do it as both of my Mainsails are far too pretty! 

Similar colour, same pose - almost attempted to dye a Posey to achieve it, but, nah.
