nightglider clean up!

I got this night glider at a toy fair (aka flea market) the other day for only 5$!!! she was really really dirty, but today i cleaned her up! at first i was worried that she was too dirty, and soap/hot water wouldnt do the trick and id have to acetone it or give up, not to risk ruining her marks. but with some elbow grease and good soap she got clean surprisingly quickly!
here's a shot of one half dirty and one half clean. she was PRETTY DANG filthy.

after thurough scrubbing of all her nooks and crannies i took acetone to her hooves to wipe off stubborn scum, and then washed her hair with detergent. here she is wet and clean : )!

and after quick blow drying on low and air drying, shes up on the shelf with the other girls, clean as new! Her mane is really really silky, like, factory silky. and her forelock popped back into place after i washed her, no re-setting needed! her tail is still a little crunchy on the ends. but overall im really really pleased with the result, im so glad i have her in my herd now~

yes, i was so worried that some of the grime would be permanent. its amazing how much she changed just from a bath.
